Malcom A. Glenn was the first African American President of the Harvard Crimson in over fifty years. He now works in public affairs for Uber in Washington, DC after a similar stint for Google. He survived the late pizza and having to hold his water until the bus landed in Cambridge.🙂

Yeah, me too, but I will always hate Worcester being called "Boston area" and did not understand the 2015-2016, 16-4 reference.

From looking at the top 10 games on the list, if the CAA is all that and a bag of chips.....Why are their football games on Flo Sports and not the ESPN family of channels or Stadium.
Surprised the CAA alumni and fans have not lobbied for a better broadcast package.

I hope a young B. Foley didn't go hungry for three quarters during that game.😂 Think about that article was written 14 years ago and HC still hasn't improved anything at that stadium.

I think we're going to need a big game from the likes of Benton Whitley this week - there's been talk of his big improvement but I have not seen the domination through 4 games - he has a total of 15 tackles - we'll need much more than 4 vs. Harvard

Worth noting that Harvard starting QB left the game with an injury last week. Pulling this from the game recap: "The real drama came a little later, when Dean was knocked out of the game on a hit by Brown’s Jarred Daul. (Dean’s status for this week’s Holy Cross game is unknown.)"
If Dean doesn't go, figure that senior Jake Smith is the QB.

Does anyone have any info on Dom Thomas, Kiessling or Grady Smith at this point?

I believe that on every team the leading tacklers will always be linebackers usually followed by defensive backs. To confirm this I checked Fordham and Lafayette. For Fordham, Greenhagen (LB) leads in tackles, of course, followed by LB, DB, LB, DB,DB then a DL named Carter with 18 tackles. For Lafayette it's LB,LB,LB then a DL named Hamm with 21, followed by DB,DB,LB. Now sacks are a whole different issue---and Benton registered 2 &1/2 last year but has not posted one this year. I'd sure like to see him nail the Harvard QB a couple of times.

After breaking all the freshman receiving records, and leading the team in receptions and yardage, Ayir Asante stands 4th in both categories in the first four games. I thought we'd see him catching more that 2 passes per game. Maybe it's the different QB (vs 2019) or greater competition in the receiver corps. In any case I'd love to see a breakout 7 receptions for 113 yards and 2 TD's.......

I had not seen this before. He's a funny guy! "So, in sum, I’m disappointed in you, Holy Cross. Because you know what they say: fool me once, shame on me. But lock me out, forget my lunch, try freeze me to death, don’t let me talk to your players and prevent me from going to the bathroom? Well, shame on you. "

Shouldn't you disclose that in addition to being a photographer you are the S.I.D. for UNH? The real S.I.D. couldn't possibly do as good a job. Maybe we will see the Wildcats at Fitton in the FCS playoffs.

Great Stuff. I hope Chesney is fully appreciated by TPTB. I don't worry too much about the extra 40 players on the Harvard squad. They can play those bottom of the roster guys all game if they want. The non-athletic scholarship financial aid and the prestige of a Harvard degree is a distinct recruiting advantage for the Crimson however.

Is "The Spire" still published? Do they have sports columnists? Uhh, this is it!? All you former "The Crusader" writers, editors will not be happy: hcspire.com/category/sports/Future journalists don't look like they'll be coming out of Holy Cross anymore.
