That is incredible....remembah Philly Textile being a D2 power back when Assumption was a D2 national power in the early 1970s. Can't believe the same guy who coached those teams, coached there this season. Ralph retired too early. Imagine if he were rehired 12 years ago. He might still be our coach today. should have been

Could tonight be the finale for Jim Boeheim? Trying to figure out if one of his sons can play next year for SU or not. If "not", then his exit from the stage should be by nightfall tomorrow.

Regardless of any son playing, they will have to wheel him out on a gurney. Did you see or read about his post game presser yesterday ? He spoke like a soccer dad of a ten year old.

The article says he resigned - not fired. More surprisingly, also says there are reports that he is going to Jackson St. 13-35 record doesn't sound like someone another school would be chasing

Bruce Weber has resigned as coach of Kansas State. KSU lost to Big 12 cellar dweller WVU which begs the question: Is this potentially it for Bob Huggins as well? The WVU program has been trending downward for several years now, and while Huggins is not as controversial as he was in his younger days, he will be 69 when next season begins

Sad way to put it, but probably quite correct.

He took the Wildcats to the Elite Eight twice in his ten years and is one of ten coaches to take 3 different programs to the Sweet Sixteen. He also was on the NCAA Ethics Committee and very proud of how he conducted the program in Manhattan, KS. Not so much when it came to some Big 12 rivals.

Another New England A-10 position is open. URI follows UMass and fires David Cox this morning after his team's exit from the A-10 Tournament last night. He had one year left on his original five year deal. Cox had a career record in Kingston of 64-55 but had losing seasons the past two years.

No news is good news from the executive offices at the Luth Center imo. No coaching change allows us to get an answer next season whether our recruits have the talent to compete for a PL crown and needed more experience and time playing together under one coaching staff, or not.
It's possible a thorough review is progressing and no decision has been made.

I would bet the ranch that we will not compete for a PL title unless this Spring we add a transfer or two who can provide immediate help defensively in the paint.

That will surprise many of the people in Pittsburgh, unless they can negotiate a much cheaper buyout than his contract specifies. Right now, if he is fired, Pitt owes him $17 million. If they wait another year to fire him that number declines to $5 million. Pitt announced late yesterday that Capel will be returning for another year. The odds are very high he will get fired after that.

I really hope HC does not add two transfers this Spring. Those numbers don't add up and I'd really like a stable year with no one entering the portal

Best case scenario (for those who like to refer to things from the past): The players we have now are the kids Blaney had in 73-74; the 2020s Patriot League equivalent of Vicens and Potter haven't arrived on campus yet. .500 is the ceiling for the current roster.

Since Wade’s associate coach is also named in the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations, former HC assistant Kevin Nickleberry will coach LSU in the Dance.,
