Has four quality 2025 commitments already. It used to be that Army and Navy rarely got anyone before the fall of their senior year, when the players' options were dwindling. Will be interesting to see if he can hold onto all of them, both through signing date and then for four years at the Academy. For the Patriot League, there are currently six commits for 2025: Navy - 4 Bucknell - 1 Lehigh - 1

Great recruiter indeed, but hasn't done much yet with the kids.

Too many ‘off the board’ posts for my liking - is MM a good recruiter ? I’d say she has a better product to offer than Sacred Heart and many other schools we’re losing recruits to

She allegedly also had an offer from Georgetown. If she had a commitable full scholarship offer from Georgetown and went to SHU, I don’t know what to tell you.

We have 4 graduating seniors and have signed two so far. What is the plan to get these players replaced ? Just like the men’s team the women need to recruit shooters to boost our offensive production

Due to the fact that Georgetown’s coach died last fall, it’s hard to tell what offers from there were still committable. However, I have no doubt that her list of offers was legitimate. She put up phenomenal stats as a sophomore and as a junior against decent NYC competition. Was 2nd team All-NYC public as a soph. And her AAU stats were off the charts, despite playing against competition two years older than her. Her AAU team included a number of players who committed to strong programs. Not sure why she selected Sacred Heart, but she must’ve really liked the coaches and the program.

This year our women have played 4800 minutes and the three freshmen have played a total of 115. It's hard to believe any of them will step in next year to replace any of the graduating seniors, but who knows.

Who recruited the sophomores (entered fall 2022) and juniors (entered fall 2021)? She was hired in March or April of 2020, correct?
The sophs for sure have to figure in evaluating her. Maybe Berger, Munt and Huber were already committed during McInerney's tenure.
Shooting is a HUGE problem with the current underclass roster.

Berger likely was first recruited by AM, but committed after MM took over. For better or worse, MM seems to focus in large part on her recruits defense, I suppose with the idea that the offense will develop. Would love to see them add a shooter to the incoming class, either from the portal or HS. Although her team is having a down year, Stella seems to be having a good senior season, recently named All-Region & All-District. Gough's team is rolling at the moment, after some struggles in year end, are now 21-3 headed into the state tournament. GG seems to be having a solid year scoring, but difficult to determine the level of competition, won alot of games by some big scores.

If Hannah Griffin is a walk-on she has exceeded expectations already. If she is a scholarship recruit, she hasn't looked out of place as a freshman reserve point guard.

She has a 5/1 assist to turnover ratio with four steals and has shot .750 from the line. Her 0 for 9 from deep is a problem. I think it would be great if all reserve guards and wings really honed their three point stroke during and after practice to be available to provide a microwave jolt of offense when needed. Probably easier to propose than to do.

Very bad technique, perhaps those more versed in that sort of thing on the board can offer an opinion as to whether I'm full of sh*t or I'm actually correct about this.

Griffin is technically a walk-on - coach MM gets a capable backup guard who has a family/ Jesuit discount to attend HC. Hannah’s mother is the head coach at St. Joe’s and there is a significant discount for children of employees that attend other Jesuit schools

Both could be true,🙂 but we are definitely in a late season slump. Time to hit re-set. Simone was great in the first half of the season. We need the staff to be able to see the changes both in her play and how she is being defended after a great early season and break them down to help her improve.

Just saw that we recvd a commitment from Daniya Brown (see page 3 of this thread) 5’5” guard from Bishop O’Connell HS, Virginia. No idea if highly recruited or not but we obviously think highly of her.

Did somebody request a shooter? Same height as all-league, all-PLT Giannaros and two inches taller than all-heart, all-PLT McCormack.

Welcome Daniya! appears to be one of the rare kids who doesn't have a social media presence. So may need to dig deep to find any other offers.
