Yes the early AZ State offer I take with a grain of salt, but recently he’s had FCS offers from Big South schools Charleston Southern and Gardner Webb as well as OVC Tennessee Tech and Lehigh. Additionally, a very good D2 program Lenoir Rhyne and one of the most prestigious HBCU’s Morehouse College (also D2). He was ranked the number #100 OVERALL recruit in GA by 247 which you would think would mean more FBS offers. He might be right on the cusp of on an offer on several boards and waiting to see what Senior year brings. Same holds true for Roberts and Inge. This is the time where you see a wave of new offers from teams that might not have landed their top recruits at a given position so new opportunities can arise. 
Again, IMHO he’s a college Safety playing High school CB which might limit his offer range a bit. Just a guess though.

Ok let the line begin to form opposing this comment yet I believe I am suggesting a positive for the program

Given what appears to be a terrific recruiting year what will it take to make this sustainable and improve each year I would suggest we continue in the PL or the ways of NCAA give us an appropriate alternative for football

Our OOC schedule be upgraded to pay games with MAC and lower 50 1A programs. Despite the history and tradition with the ivies only play Harvard and Yale 3x in 4 years and rotate Princeton and Dartmouth in the off years for H/Y

Anyway my thoughts on a late Saturday afternoon

I wonder if Chesney feels differently about playing FBS teams than he did when he arrived. I think I heard that he really wasn’t a fan of FBS games but maybe that was in the context of getting blown out by BC. Some of the northeast independents and the bottom half of the MAC are all winnable games if we can maintain our current talent level. The fans get into those games and some of them allow us to get out to different parts of the country.

This is a top 10 class nationally. It’s not debatable. And if someone wants to debate it I’ll happily engage.

A Cam Jones commitment today to hopefully kick off a run of great DBs would very much solidify this sentiment.

HCBC and his talented staff are obviously recruiting solid athletes whom they are molding into very good college football players. It appears that they’re also recruiting high school boys of good character whom they are molding into solid young men prepared for their post-college and post-football days.

I was on campus yesterday at the reception following Togo’s funeral and burial. As the reception was wrapping up, and I was preparing to head home, I drove up behind the Luth Center hoping that the FB team might be practicing. Fortuitously, the team was making its way, one by one (in 95 degree heat) to the practice field. Learning that HCBC had not yet left the building, I decided to wait to say Hello. Greeting and making (very) small talk with players who walked by, over the course of less than ten minutes or so, I literally lost count of how many times I heard the word “Sir”.

It is very clear to me that HCBC and his staff are creating a generation young men with CLASS who are destined for successful lives.
