HC men’s soccer last finished above .500 in 2008. Koolman has been the coach since 2012. Too soon to think about a change? We looked like we might be finally showing some life in 2021 when we were .500 and had the PL ROY but right back to being craptacular this year.

While we all believe Kit Hughes has done a nice job re-working Chesney's contract and taking the appropriate measures to get men's basketball back on track, the four team spring sports are a collective disaster.
He's a lacrosse guy having played at Bowdoin, so have to figure he's passionate about this sport and wants to see HC get to at least a respectable level in the PL.
The collective records (and PL records) for baseball, softball, M/W lacrosse --
23-68 / 5-26
The reality of the situation is, if we are going to be spending a lot of money (at least relative to other PL schools) in football and basketball, along with sponsoring men's and women's hockey, there are going to be sports that are left behind.

Assuming that the $ flow continues toward FBall, Bball (M & W) as well as Hockey — which I understand and agree. The current leaders of the Spring/Fall teams are not getting their respective groups of student athletes to perform competitively with the tools provided. Coaching is the one variable for the Fall/Spring teams that should be changed, particularly after years on the Hill consistently under performing as measured against peer schools. Start with W Lax and M Soccer.
