That'd be my guess as well.

2
4 -- Uses every cliche and coach-speak in the book...."Every one is bought in", "Culture has never been stronger", "Some of the guys really came back in the best shape", "We are going to be the best conditioned team every night we play", "Looking forward to playing guys in different jerseys" etc etc etc

Unfortunately I can't make it tonight, but I would have one little question:
How do you quickly turn a losing culture into a winning one?

Maybe it will be "We are just getting ready for Siena," as to every question.

So I'm not going. NAD's not going. I assume Tom will be going (you kinda have to, right?). Anyone else going? I like the idea of both men's and women's coaches at the event. If you aren't wild about one, you might go for the other. Don't forget to ask Maureen some questions! How about: "How do you quickly turn a losing culture into a winning one?" She might have a different answer than Brett.

Mostly #2s, but a few #1s. I don't think he's in a strong enough position to be sarcastic.

Decent crowd. Not a lot of new information. A lot of the predicted coach speak
With some experienced players on the squad, they're working in some different wrinkles on D including some zone

A couple random thoughts and comments:
-the team has been able to play a lot of 5v5 - something they could not do during COVID and because of some injuries in the past -no mention of health of the team but since they have been able to play a lot of 5v5 I assume the health has been good -BN mentioned they track movement of ball and he his happy how much the team is sharing the ball - I have never heard of tracking this but makes sense - maybe others can comment - IIRC they are looking for 250-275 passes per game? -BN indicated this is the first time he has been able to speak in the community because of COVID -still plans to a lot of M2M defense but will break out some zone at times -plans to play more up-tempo -schedule was formulated to get the team ready for the Patriot League - no mention of the D3games - mentioned the Fordham Tournament to give the NY alums a chance to see the Team - BN mentioned that this is the oldest team has been able to work with - got the impression this will help a lot - makes sense -BN mentioned that Colgate was named the favorite again with the "25/26 year-olds on their team" - some mention of their graduate program offerings as a factor
There was an MC for the night so the volume of questions was controlled. MC asked most of the questions and only took 2 questions from the audience, although the coaches stuck around after and were available for questions from individuals.
GG was there and looks to be in great shape - mentioned that he loves the family atmosphere of HC and likes being able to look into the stands and see faces of his friends on campus. - something he did not have at New Orleans. Not certain of his plans after graduating but may look into coaching.
RJ and one other coach were not present because they were on a recruiting trip.
Overall, nothing earth shattering came out during the night.

Concerning Colgateās alleged 25-26 year olds Either it was in jest or there is some basis, or partly both. None of the four listed seniors who played the most are listed as grad students. Ages are not given for any players, but looking at their best, Richardson, he did spend a year at a prep school and this is his fifth year, so at the most he may be 24.

Colgate's graduate studies program appears to be tiny but that isn't to say it doesn't exist. Looks like it is centered on a Master of Arts in Teaching. Also, 25-26 year old players is a bit of a stretch. Appears they may have 2-3 players in the 23-24 range by Spring Semester.

More than I would have expected. '83 would you post Coach MM's comments on the ladies' thread?
As for MC controlling the questions, guessing it was the same guy that did the football event. Hardly any questions from the assembled masses there as well.

I did not take the Colgate comment literally - more hyperbole with a tinge of frustration.

Or an excuse? '83, just curious, did he "press the flesh" with the fans? If so, that'd be a change in his M.O.
