One week to go before the start of the 2022-2023 Basketball Season. Time to open a thread regarding our opponent Siena College. Over the years this has been an interesting rivalry, with the highest intensity during the Willard vs McCaffrey years. Next Monday we should expect a contingent of fans from Siena to arrive on campus, as they have a bus scheduled to come to Worcester. I fear the crowd may be very light for this one and for all subsequent games unless the students return to campus in January to find the hoops team is winning games. If the football team goes to a game, that changes the dynamic but hopefully they’ll be busy for a while.

I just checked our schedule on the HC website and none of our home games show a time while almost all away games have times. Really?!  |

When I asked the ticket dude, Justin, about the starting times, he said they were still sorting out what would work. Especially that Saturday home game when hopefully the football team will play a home game in the NCAA tourney. HC would like to put the time out there once...not a TBA and not move it....Tickets for season ticket holders will be emailed, so no big rush. Even NAD will have time to get the tickets into his Apple wallet ...(My wife will have no problem getting ours into my wallet!). |

Especially that Saturday home game when hopefully the football team will play a home game in the NCAA tourney. HC would like to put the time out there once...not a TBA and not move it....Tickets for season ticket holders will be emailed, so no big rush. Even NAD will have time to get the tickets into his Apple wallet ...(My wife will have no problem getting ours into my wallet!). Not even sure if I am going to be able to go at this point. Had my first of two cataract surgeries Monday, and just tried driving. Found it to be pretty tricky, never mind seeing tickets on my phone.  Might be a game time decision. Second surgery is not till the end of the month, God, getting old sucks! |

Hope your surgeries are as successful as mine were. My eyesight has never been better!! |

You should be ok by the weekend, and screaming at the refs Monday! Hope your surgeries are as successful as mine were. My eyesight has never been better!! Same timeframe for me. No more contacts. Trickiest part was how to see in the time between the two surgeries. |

Outside of family, THE best. Trickiest part was how to see in the time between the two surgeries.That's the only thing concerning me, Crosser, as the second surgery is not until 11/28. For now, I either can drive with my existing glasses (while keeping the new eye shut), or ditch the glasses and just keep the new eye open lol. Indeed, though, my distance vision is greatly improved from the surgery. Thanks to all for the well wishes. Now, back to Siena pre-game! |
