Loyola edged Stony Brook and Julie Creo yday in Balt. 9-8 - now face no.1 nationally ranked Northwestern in the quarters PL men and women having a very good showing so far Jolie Creo (HC ‘22) had 0 goals and 1 assist in the two NCAA tournament games for Stony Brook. Her brother Gavin is a very good senior on a very good high school team (Chaminade) and is heading to Richmond.

Chaminade is now famous for being the high school of the new bishop of Providence, Richard Henning. And, no Worcester, you're not getting this guy. You're stuck with the last episcopal export from RI.

Yes, but Bishop McManus turns 72 in early July putting him just 3 years away from submitting a mandatory retirement letter. Hopefully Pope Francis, or whomever succeeds him, accepts that resignation posthaste!

Hey, McManus speaks well of you, 8485. The sad part is when he does retire, he's likely to come back to his place in RI. Or maybe take over as head of the Nativity school since he has such good relations with the folks there? Any chance he'll ask the Pope for a coadjutor like Tobin did?
