Great get! Midwest, a younger version of Sluka? This is Holy Cross first player to commit from Nebraska. What a great job recruiting. He had a number of offers from schools in the Missouri Valley (NDS,SDS,S Dakota)

According to this article from May, he was slated to go to NDSU's camp: nebpreps.com/rauner-recruitment-ready-for-june/

So to reset on Commits:
1 QB - Rauner 1 RB - Treadwell 2 WR - Cason and Newton 1 OL - Miles 3 DB - Bostic, Gardner, Jones 1 DE - Watson 1 DT - Pritchard-Sewell
5 offense and 5 defense
I believe the class will be 24 players for a variety of reason which I won't bore you with. Here's where I see the remaining 14 positions:
1 pure Punter 1 RB 1 WR 2 TE 3 OL 1 DL (DE most likely) 2 LB 3 DBs
Still one of James' signals unaccounted for in the way of the recruit posting his commitment on IG or Twitter.

With your Spidey senses now getting tuned in, what are your thoughts on how many of the open spots might be fullish. I'm assuming the 10 plus the hidden are all fullish. Of the guys I'm hoping to get I'm guessing Newsome, Morgan, Feeney, Macce, Wilson would require fullish so maybe some of them will be dropping off the target list (assuming there is mutual interest). Any thoughts from you and the experts are always appreciated.

He’s a stud baseball player. Getting recruited there as well but wants to just focus on football in college

HCNJ - I generally don't comment on full vs partial for any player. For the most part I make my guesses based on other offers and what it would take from HC to get a player. Often times when competing against the IVY you don't need to offer a full because we have no way of knowing how much aid a player will get. As an example we've had players in the past where HC has offered a full when the same player is getting nothing in aid from the IVY, but in other cases every IVY has offered a kid and HC was able to get him for less than a full ride. It's a case by case basis against them. When it comes to competing against FBS (we know it's a full ride - if commitable) and CAA types HC might have to offer a full to get the player, depending on where it is in the recruiting cycle, etc.
I've DM'ed you with further information.

I believe, at this point, that we have 10 announced verbal commits and we have had 12 "signals" that commitments have been received -- meaning, therefore, that two verbal commits have not yet publicly announced their commitments.
If this is not correct in any way, I would appreciate being corrected. Thanks.

Possible reasons for not publicly confirming the verbal?
1) They don't have Twitter or Instagram. 2) They want to reveal the commitment during signing day. 3) They don't want it publicly known because if they decommit later on it would make them look bad.
Any other reasons?

Yes. They are saving a spot in the class by verbally committing and waiting for a better offer.

Yes. They are saving a spot in the class by verbally committing and waiting for a better offer. right, that's why the long term hiddens are always worrisome, just like last year. Last year, even after they went public, the two long term hiders were the decommits. I only feel there's one of those guys right now, whoever committed around the 4th of July. I don't worry about the guys who want a week or so.

I agree with this hcnj. There is 1 that I think will post shortly. The other one we don’t know about.

There’s also nothing preventing the college from pulling that respective kids offer during that “silent” commit phase. we would never do it but some kids last cycle had offers pulled even after they had publicly verbally committed. More of an FBS phenomenon but a terrible look for the University/College program IMO.

LeBron James's high school
On some sites he is listed as Sir Charles Gordon--and that can get you redirected to the famous British General whose story is told in the great Charlton Heston movie Khartoum

The staff continues to do a phenomenal job in recruiting outstanding talent. Jalen Coker has distinguished himself with his ability to elevate and dominate opposing defensive backfields given his size and “ups”.
Looking forward to more of the same with Sir Charles as well.
Additionally, no doubt that Sir Charles will be a first ballot induction into the “All Name Team” as well.
LET’S WIN!! ✝️👏🏻🏈👏🏾✝️

Another fine addition-- His HS football and basketball programs are among the best in the state, and in hoops, they are among the best in the US. He and AJ Willis will have some good LJ stories to share. Sir Charles is a very talented basketball player as well. Also had offers from Army and Syracuse.

Pritchard-Sewell now Sircharles Gordon, watch the flood gates in Ohio open for Holy Cross football. We have flown past recruiting against the Patriot League. We are now going head to head with the MAC. Recruits talk with one another. You can bet Sircharles will be recruiting some of his guys to join him up on the hill. I can remember the time when the row and the seat number on your ticket mattered. We may be heading back to those days with this talent coming into HC.
