I presume both games are at the same site. If so, why do they have the games only 2 hours apart ? Our game will not start before 9:35-9:45, and that is without OT.

I'm sure Coach McCaffrey will warmly greet the HC women if his Hawkeyes are playing at home in the NIT.

Idk, new AD got rid of Brian Ferentz pretty quickly. With all the McCaffrey kids gone, floundering attendance, and continued lack of March success, she may encourage him to take some time to recharge before heading somewhere else or "retiring".

The gap between the Ivy and Patriot has never been wider. The Ivy gets two teams in, a 9 and 12 seed and we get a 16. I wish we’d toughen up our OOC scheduling but definitely not next season which will be a rebuilding one for us. For now I’m excited about the prospect of getting an NCAA win on Thursday

Just wondering how many tickets the winner of Thursday's game is allocated for Saturday. The Iowa board says that both games (after the play in) are sold out, not surprisingly.

Well, 2 were against Brown the other 2 to Dartmouth (a horrible team) although Brown is a decent win this year, generally not so much. Also, besides losing to Brown, lost to a very good Columbia team in the WNIT 2 years ago. Unfortunately, Harvard & Yale have fallen off the schedule.

Our win over Brown was easily our best ooc win this season - it might have been the only W over an ooc opponent which had a winning record.

Schedule wasn't so bad, except a team has to WIN some of those OOC games. A lot of "close buts", but only the Brown W of any distinction.
Opponents of note: Stony Brook (lost in CAA final, top seed) Vermont (lost in AE final to Maine, 3rd seed) Villanova (tied for third in the Big East) BC (hey, a power 5 team anyway, and not a horrible one)
As far as losing to mediocre or bad ooc teams, the ladies didn't do a bad job with that, IMHO the blemish in that regard was Quinnipiac.
On the other hand, the schedule wasn't so great it needs to be dumbed down the next couple years.

Is the team leaving today or tmro ? Is the NCAA having another team share the charter flight out to Iowa City ?
