Amazing. I wonder what the appeal was for 6 on 6.

Amazing. I wonder what the appeal was for 6 on 6. One less player than netball which is similar in rules of 6 on 6?

Do hope our jerseys have “Holy Cross” on the front unlike last year.

Whenever i think of Title IX in women's basketball I think of Immaculata - a small all-women's(at the time) Catholic College in Pennsylvania.
I am sure others remember but they were a national powerhouse in Women's College Basketball. in the 70's
Ironically Title IX killed their program by forcing the big schools to make a real commitment to women's athletics.
I remember watching some nationally televised games between Immaculata and Old Dominion in the late '70's - another great Women's basketball school at the time.

IIRC that one PL women's victory in the NCAA by Holy Cross against Maryland, was played at the Hart Center. I don't remember the specific reason but I believe Maryland needed to use the gym for something else. it didn't matter that they had a higher seed. I am sure the Maryland team did not come into Worcester feeling great after their own school wouldn't make an accommodation so they could get a home game.

The Arizona / Auburn game is a foul-athon and just entered halftime at 8:04 - that game is going to end well after 9 so it’s likely we’ll have to watch the beginning of our game in the espn App
