Jaiden Feroah • Green River • Men's Basketball Feroah led the Gators to their first-ever NWAC Men's Basketball title this season and second-ever conference title, with the only other championship coming in 1969 while members of the Washington Athletic Association of Community Colleges (WAACC). Feroah had an incredible season overall as he averaged a double-double with 18.0 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. He also led the NWAC with 63 total blocks and was sixth in field goal percentage at 60.6 percent. He played in all 33 games for the Gators, averaging 32.8 minutes at the post position.
After the tournament, Feroah was also named the NWAC Tournament MVP after averaging 17.3 points per game, 13.3 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 3.0 steals in the Gators' four tournament wins. In the overtime championship win against Tacoma, Feroah played all 45 minutes and had 17 points with a Green River record 23 rebounds. He also had five blocks and four steals defensively. Overall, Feroah led the Gators to a 27-6 season, finishing the year on a 10-game winning streak.

Sounds like a 4 man for us I realize that the competition may not be great, but rebounding, blocks and both FG as well as 3 point percentage are especially noteworthy. Twitter says he played the post. Green River is in the state of Washington. Nice work, Coach.

‘24-‘25 roster:
Seniors: Kenney
Juniors: Batchelder, Feroah, Kirkwood
Sophs: Nugent, Ryan, Singleton, Warren, Williams
Frosh: Boston, Green, Hare, Richard
From one of the interviews, Feroah pronounced like Farrow (as in Mia).

In late March of this year, VC reported that he had four D2 offers: Alaska Anchorage, Dominican (CA), Montana State Billings and Western Oregon. Then his Green River coach reported a fifth D2 offer. There was no further activity until today’s Holy Cross announcement.

From Draper Utah a suburb of SLC. School has 2300 students so I’m guessing it competed in largest schools division in Utah
Taylor Feroah is 6-6 and I believe soon to graduate from Corner Canyon HS ,likely is the brother of Jaiden and also a big scorer

Welcome Jaiden!
For me, he seems to check some of the boxes I had for the last recruit, based on what I said after the Gabe Warren commitment:
"And speaking of Townsel - thinking of him got me thinking about what I wouldn't mind seeing with this last recruit/transfer; maybe a 6-7/6-8 version of him; someone that doesn't have to be a big scorer, but can rebound and defend some, mix it up inside. I think that would complete the rest of the group nicely. IMO someone with 2 years eligibility would also be a best case scenario as well, as it will make the team a bit older (a bit on the young side right now), and it would help balance the classes a bit too."

We looked at Mitt Romney, but never made an offer - being unsure if he was a righty or a lefty.

Hopefully he (Jaiden, not Romney) can move his feet on defense, and show the same rebounding ability he did at Green River. Being a 2 year commitment, not a huge risk. Maybe he is a late bloomer of sorts.

Also it would be nice if he was the same caliber as Townsell academically.

Mormon? I bet HC doesn't have too many. Only one I remember from my time there was Professor Alexander Stecker

Is Feroah Mormon? If so wouldn’t he have taken a 2 year mission trip?
