Correct How about the season and the numbers ? Unfortunately, don't know the exact number of steals and 3TP offhand...and if anyone says they do, they're lying.

292 Steals 222 3-Pointers I know and I'm not lying. I read the same tweet from HC Basketball this morning that hchoops likely saw and passed it on in the form of a trivia question!

It is nice to have multiple capable three point shooters and I think we may be so blessed this coming season. I think we’ve had some seasons with only one or two.

This year's newcomers are the most hyped since Lowder and Wade.

Not to put pressure on the team, but this talent is significantly better, and not even close. Been over a decade since we had this level of talent entering the program

It will be very hard for this crew to leave less of a footprint than the class of Lowder, Wade, Ciaran Sandy, Joe Pridgen (who wasn't that hyped before arriving as I recall) and Joey Reilly. What a difference a coach makes. Despite the portal being so well established now, I fully expect most of this year's newcomers to graduate from Holy Cross.

Batch, after two seasons, is more than half-way to that player's record for career three pointers. However, he mau not get as many attempts in his last two seasons as in his first two, 2022-23- 88 threes 2023-24- 51 threes Coach Nelson gave Batch a freer hand at shooting the 3. 3 point attempts dropped about 40 percent for Batch under Coach Paulsen. In spite of that, he doesn't need to replicate his freshmen year stats or even 2 year average. If he can repeat the 51 3's (on the similar percentage) from his not so green lighted sophomore year, he would still get the record

I hope he gets the opportunity, as he will compete for minutes with Singelton, Williams, Boston, Green, Richard, and Warren. It will be an exciting fall and winter

In support of Batch he played a lot last year with Williams and Singleton available. He's a reliable jump shooter. The new comers still have to do it. Warren scored a point a game in 21 games. Against Batch he needs to defend or expand his game because of our perceived talent. CP is also helped by having 8 scholarship players in his 1+ seasons, plus Singleton and Williams, which is our hope. That's very unusual and his choices look good.

My guess for one of them is BC in and around 2000-2004. Don't want to cheat and look it up. The game where Ed Cooley fell ill at the end of the game and ended up in the hospital.

With an 18-11 record and 10-6 mark in the Big East, BC did not make the tournament that year. I imagine they were right on the bubble. That team had some one-two punch with Troy Bell and Craig Smith.
