Follow the money, Phreek. These medical journals are all little more than paid propaganda for the Big Pharma Swamp. Wall Street uses the same sort of charades. See Ed’s post 😉
Unitaid is just another of Bill Gates’ pass thrus. Sent a cool $40mm to Andy Hill’s employer at University of Liverpool to buy his silence costing the lives of hundreds of thousands. What a shame but life is cheap for Big Pharma when there are billion$$ to be made. Hide the data. Get the msm to run cover all while the kids got screwed and the devastatibg side effects from high blood pressure, clotting and heart ailments pile up.
Money talks. Always about the money. Again, See Ed’s post. $$$
Shame on HC.

The public is fully entitled to know all of this information. Who provided the funds? Who received it? How much?
The conflicts of interest are rampant and obvious on their face.
Truth and transparency are the great AND only disinfectants.
Follow the $$$.
Thank you Ed for drawing attention to this.

Positivity rates are up significantly in my area. Luckily, no one seems to be getting particularly sick, at least among those I know who have tested positive. I haven't even anecdotally heard about anyone getting hospitalized in my circles in at least 6 months. And I had at least 20 people I know personally die from COVID during the first wave. Another interesting tidbit. The Bronx is one of just 4 counties in all of NYS that is currently listed as LOW RISK based on current positivity trends. Despite being the county with the lowest vaccination rate. Are you sure and fully confident that "despite" is the appropriate choice of words and not "because"? What is it that they say about doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting a different outcome? Was pleased to hear that some students on campus declared themselves as Conscientious Objectors in defiance of the Mask Mandates recently reimposed by the administration. Good for them. I recall some around these parts who were not overly enamored with the use of ivermectin if need be ( I used it for one period when I knew I had been exposed) while employing a regular program of quercetin, zinc, and Vitamins C and D. That combination along with rigorous cardiovascular exercise has continued to work wonders for me and many others to whom I recommended it. On the topic of ivermectin, ICYMI from January 2021, I welcome sharing the following 20 minute short documentary. Remember, follow the $$$. In the process, one learns a lot including often who has 'blood on their hands'. A Letter to Dr. Andrew Hill: www.oraclefilms.com/alettertoandrewhill

This message recently went out to the Friends of Crusader Football. I welcome sharing it with the many fellow faithful supporters of HCFB who frequent these parts.
LET'S WIN!! **********
Fellow Crusaders,
I can't think of another year in at least the last 30 if not 40 years in which the anticipation and excitement surrounding our Crusader Football program has run this high. You do not need me to tell you that Coach Chesney, staff and our Crusaders are fully 'committed to excellence in winning on and off the field' and getting it done in a huge way in every regard.
Against that tremendous backdrop, our marquis off season event, that is our 2022 HCFB Annual Golf Outing, presents the opportunity -- and dare I say, the obligation -- for each and every Crusader to display our Purple Pride in support of everything going on around the program.
What has transpired over the last few months and years?
1. Patriot League Championship THREE-PEAT . . . 2. First FCS Playoff victory and at Fitton Field to boot . . 3. An outstanding 2nd round performance v Villanova . . with more work to do and expectations for greater progress on the near time horizon. 4. Coach Chesney signs a 5-year contract extension . . . thank you AD Kit Hughes and President Rougeau 5. Incoming recruits of extraordinary caliber AND 15 Crusaders returning for a 5th year . . WOW!! 6. Recent launch of the Fuel the Momentum Campaign to increase the alumni and Friends of Crusader Football funding for the program . . very successful to date and more work to do. THANK YOU to the Crusader faithful who have already given with many having made multi-year commitments. (Link: www.givecampus.com/schools/CollegeoftheHolyCross/fueling-the-momentum/?a=5117030) ;
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = UNPARRALLELED EXCITEMENT and ENTHUSIASM for the 2022 Crusaders and the FUTURE for Holy Cross Football
In short, everything that Crusaders far and wide and over the many decades have wished and hoped for in terms of our Crusader FB program IS HAPPENING!! So, now it is time to stand up, show up, turn out, support and spread the word in regard our Annual Golf Outing.
How can you support this outing and the Crusaders?
1. Attend and Play 2. Attend the Dinner 3. SPONSOR THE EVENT: this is always the difference maker in determining the relative level of success for this event 4. If you cannot attend, please sponsor a hole or any other level of sponsorship . . Think BIG!! 5. Share this message with your friends, classmates, teammates and anybody/everybody who Bleeds Purple!!
Coach Chesney, staff and the Crusaders have delivered on the mission and vision that CBC laid out at his introductory press conference in December 2017. Now it is our time to show just how deep and strong our Purple Blood runs.
Get involved. TYVM.
Let's Win!!

I wish you all the best.

Benton was a standout wrestler in high school. Those techniques developed in his early years are certainly very helpful as he navigates his way along the line of scrimmage and into opposing backfields.
Major props also need to go to Crusader Dakota Allosso's (2011) Dad who coached Benton at Minnechaug Regional in western MA and was integral in his coming to the Cross.

You are most kind. I have long maintained that I am the greatest beneficiary of the 90-Wide.
I applaud ADMB and all those involved in launching the Crusader Champions Academy effort. Any and all programs of this sort that can be utilized to attract and then meaningfully develop top quality students and student-athletes to Holy Cross are clearly a very good thing. Along these lines and with props to Bill Maloney '59 who has been involved in mentoring and supporting Crusaders for the past 40 years, he and a dozen other 90-Wide Crusader mentors will be meeting with the team later this month for an annual meet and greet and discussion on a host of related topics.
Let's keep raising the bar and the expectations in terms of our commitment to excellence in winning on and off the field. It would seem the Crusader Champions Academy is looking to do just that and certainly the 90-Wide does as well.
Let's Win!!

No doubt, Fr. Brooks was a priest among priests, a man among men, and a giant among giants. While one decision he made has generated endless debate, the simple fact is he and Fr. Miller more than any other two individuals built the college.
There is no doubt that in regard to race in our country, there are serious questions worthy of both serious discussion and exposure regarding the injustice therein. Regrettably, though, all too often these topics seem to get excessively politicized to the point where the exposure is muted and the results are unproductive. This is the greatest of all disservices and in my opinion actually further adds to the injustices therein. Who is our modern day MLK to emphasize the focus not on the color of our skin but rather the content of our character?
I would hope that the politics of this topic might be lessened so that truly meaningful dialogue can occur for the benefit of society as a whole. I actually look at the the questions regarding race as part of an even larger question regarding ethics. I would hope that we might frame the one within the other so that the politics can be dispensed with and so that our nation and society as a whole can advance.
If it were only so easy . . .

With Nido on the Mets connected to the Cross via his family and Crusader grad Matt Blake as pitching coach for the Yanks, the Crusaders are well represented in this weekend’s Subway Series.

Bingo. Strong athletic lineage on both sides of the family. Michael’s sister is Tomás Nido’s mother. She was an Olympic swimmer. His father a highly accomplished tennis player. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom%C3%A1s_Nido

Not by my knowledge.
Two more hints. The player for the Mets is in the lineup today vs the Yanks. The Crusader in my opinion would be considered to be in the top 50 of all time players.

‘Hoops I guess this opens up the possibility that there may be more than one current member of the NY Mets with a relative who played hoops for the Cross. Now that would be particularly interesting if that were the case.
McKinney is not the Met whom I know to be related to a Crusader but I am going to look at his lineage.

Which current member of the New York Mets has a family member who had an outstanding career playing hoop for the Crusaders?
Was not aware until reading this baseball player’s bio.
Happy 4th of July one and all. God Bless America.
Hint: one of the most colorful and intense players to wear the Purple in my lifetime.

Would think it might be far easier and much more productive for the college and all concerned to drown out this divisive debate if we simply developed a culture of competing and winning on the courts and fields of play.
In the process of doing so, we can elevate the Cross and the mission and vision for Alma Mater.
I don’t discount though that there are very real forces on campus for which the concepts of “competing” and “winning” are anathema.
That is both sad and pathetic.
Let’s Win!!

Welcome, Vince.
Certainly today, July 1, 2021 is another great day to be a Crusader. In all we do both on and off the fields of play, in and out of the classrooms, labs, libraries, theatre and other places where we gather to pursue our mission . . .
LET'S COMPETE AND LET'S WIN!!

I had the good fortune of engaging Quentin Liggins '10 during the spring of his senior year at Holy Cross. I could tell shortly after our initial talks that this Crusader was and is a very special individual. After Holy Cross, he went to work at Goldman Sachs for two years. His career was incredibly bright. He chose a different path and took a different journey, though, in transitioning his career into the field of education by working initially at City Year in Washington DC and then moving on into various leadership positions. Quentin chose a life of service in helping others. He currently works in a leadership role in the Tulsa Oklahoma Public School system.
I have not spoken to him in over 5 years but I know I could pick up with him now as if we just spoke last week. He is a Crusader and he is part of the Crusader Football Family.
Very unfortunately Quentin was recently diagnosed with a rare brain cancer known as glioblastoma. He needs our help. Let's help our brother.
Rather than my writing further, please read about Quentin in his own very touching and moving words and his request for our help and support: www.quentinstestimony.com/
To make a donation to offset the significant medical expenses he faces, here is a link to a tax-exempt donation through his church: www.shelbygiving.com/App/Giving/metr1228154
If you are in a position to help Quentin and his wife and young daughter, I thank you on his behalf and that of his family. Whether you can or might help Quentin or not, please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Thank you.

With props and respects to Ron Maheu ‘64 who passed earlier this year and was the visionary for the Holy Cross Ring of Honor, I think Fitton Field’s Ring of Honor display celebrating our past greats compares very favorably to any other college or university. In fact, compared to those schools with which we compete, I don’t think there is a close second but I’ll admit to being biased.
Plans for further induction and to enhance the luster connected with the Ring of Honor over the coming years will unequivocally further elevate the greatness and the tradition of our Holy Cross Crusader Football program.

So the Holy Cross administration is using the scarlet letter approach. How interesting. If somebody has had the virus and developed antibodies and in turn embraces the long-standing and widely accepted ethical principle of informed consent not to get vaxxed, the school still says these individuals need to walk around with the scarlet letter. Says a lot. #pathetic #gutless I find it very very interesting how so many people today so easily dismiss basic principles of medical ethics. That truly fascinates me. I think in time we will reflect and appreciate the massive failure of leadership on this specific ethical topic. Informed Consent: www.ama-assn.org/delivering-care/ethics/informed-consentHaving previously referenced the use and efficacy of the drug ivermectin, I welcome sharing this recently released review: journals.lww.com/americantherapeutics/abstract/9000/ivermectin_for_prevention_and_treatment_of.98040.aspxI will now refrain from further comment.
