UNH beat JMU. None of the teams in the CAA are unbeatable.

Colgate held Army to their lowest rushing yardage all year, including a game vs. Oklahoma. Colgate is better than we are giving them credit.

We always flew to DC for GT or Towson games. This is not new. We took the bus to Georgetown both my Sophomore and Senior year. Sucks for you guys. I had a knee injury on one of those trips and sitting in the bulkhead seat for an hour and 1/2 was bad enough. I could not imagine a 7 hour drive on a bus.

There were 3 or 4 OCs under Duffner. In addition to Dan Allen (88), HC had Mike Sherman (89) and Clyde Christensen (90) as OCs. Plus whoever it was in 1991 (edit: could it have been Dan Dorazio, or was he only the OL coach? He's STILL COACHING IN THE CFL!) Rossley was at HC for two years, 20-1 (86-7). The other records were 9-2, 9-1-1, 10-1 and 11-0. Plenty of points scored; no problem with "imagination". Maybe the other guys ran stuff so similar (and so well) to Rossley it was hard to tell he was gone. (edit)- It sucked when Vaas came in and scrapped that offense. Wanted to take an entirely different direction; and tried to do it with a lot of guys who weren't suited for it. Please don't compare Duffner's OCs to the current. I think it's safe to say the talent level is a tad different. For those who question the OCs season....what should he have done differently with the talent he had to work with? The only game where the offense struggled where they shouldn't have was Bucknell but the Bison have always been a tough defense. We have talented receivers who did not the get the ball. How many catches did Bell, DiNicola, Ayeni have all year? OC did not get the ball to Cozier in space, where he could be even more effective than running him in between the tackles and hoping he pops. They did not run with the power back Oliver in short yardage situations. Bell comes back for a 5th year, presumably to have more tape for a UDFA chance, and is not utilized at all. It appeared we lived off the vertical passing game this year. To my eye (and not looking at the stats), it seemed we were not making short-mid yardage third down conversion completions. I hate even saying this, but we could have benefited from the screen game more- Cozier/Alexander in RB screen game and Bell and Gillium in the WR Screen game. In fact, I don't remember a HC season where the backs were used less in the passing game. Were we in max protect all year?

Two comments-
You don’t get a c overall grade if you have a losing season. OC grade is 2 grades too high.
That being said future is bright when we get new OC and TPO QB.

While I never gave up, even when they were down 31 - 5, many of you did! ! If I had the time, I would go back and re-post all of the comments at that time! It would hilarious top reread them! ! There were so many regarding the OC, Jeff Wade, etc., etc.! Did we play poorly for more than a half? Did we turn the ball over too many times? Did we miss so many assignments? Did GT look great while go out in front 31 - 5? I could go on and on and the answer to all would be "YES"! Did we play with a sense of urgency? Did we make spectacular plays to keep drives going? Did Special Teams step it up today etc., etc.? Again, I could go on and on and the answer to all would be "YES"! Remember, the game is 60 minutes long and all that counts and is remembered in the end is the final score 32 - 31! And, we WON! ! Congratulations to the entire TEAM for a thrilling season that had its ups and downs but ends on a 4 game win streak! CBC now has something to build upon! May he and the entire team be proud of their accomplishments this season! The 2019 -2020 season starts tomorrow! GO CROSS GO! ! Also, you gotta love this... HC beats GT on a last minute TD 32 -31, while Florida State beats BC on a last minute TD 22 - 21 ! And, in one of the wackiest, dumbest things that you could do, a Harvard player flips the bird to a Yale defender before he crosses the goal line for the TD in the H - Y game. He was called for unsportsmanlike conduct (taunting), the play called back. Had he done it after crossing the goal line, the TD would have stood ! ! Here's the link: www.yahoo.com/sports/harvard-running-back-flips-off-yale-defender-way-end-zone-refs-disallow-td-video-201555618.htmlBS - the OC is terrible. I stand by what I wrote. LD opened my eyes a little as to Wade’s winning %. He is in the wrong offense clearly. The OC’s contract should be thrown off the I-290 overpass. He is flat out terrible. We would be better off with Marino running screens every 3 plays.

I literally don't know what Wade is seeing that would make him throw that ball... You could hear TK blow out air in frustration.

Let’s be clear because I have been harsh, as many others on Wade. Wade deserves respect for being a crusader, for being part of the team, going through the grind, etc. He does not, however, deserve to play. He is simply not good enough to lead this team to victory, and that has been evident all year. If he is truly the best option we had, then we might as well play a freshman next year and let the chips fall where they may.

Can we start calling for the firing of Murphy again?
Here is the truth: GT is playing better, playing harder and playing tougher. HC is playing soft. They are also clearly being outcoached.

How many pro teams do they have in SC to cover? The answer of course, is none. But Clemson, located in the relative boonies in a town of 13,000, fills its stadium of 80,000+ After a Clemson game, they make the highways one-way so fans can get out of town. I believe one can successfully advance the argument that professional sports has greatly eroded interest in college sports in the Northeast. Most particularly in Boston, because Boston team have won so many championships recently. In part - correct. Eroded interest can also be linked to lack of success. IF BC was in the national championship hunt, Alumni would be full every game.

Scrolled down the headlines in the online Globe sports section. 28 on pro sports, two on Clemson game, one on HS volleyball. Scrolled down the Greenville SC daily newspaper online sports section. No stories on pro sports. Lots of stories on Clemson, Furman, and USouth Carolina, and high school sports.. How many pro teams do they have in SC to cover?

NYC - and the Bronx specifically - is a disgusting, urine soaked cesspit? Actually, Applications to FU have boomed in recent years as Fordham has marketed itself as NYC's Jesuit University. NYC immodestly bills itself as "the world's greatest city" and "the capital of the world" and is a great draw for Columbia, NYU as well as FU among other schools and businesses. Obviously, you are not entirely familiar with the Bronx which apparently is doing quite well, although I do admit to a closer association with Manhattan, the glittering jewel in the crown. Oh and it appears that Amazon is locating half of its HQ2 in the NYC boro of Queens. Obviously, I love NYC and also I LoveHC I was obviously joking. While I don't claim any affinity for NYC, I also harbor no ill feeling. Nonetheless, I do believe that the City smells bad. It makes the alleys of the North End smell like they have been sprayed by air freshener.

So what exactly has happened at Fordham ? Up until now they've been good thru several coaching changes. Is it injuries, bad luck in recruiting ? NYC - and the Bronx specifically - is a disgusting, urine soaked cesspit?
