Loyola 8-13 on threes and 11-15 on twos in the first half--let's see if their shooting "gravitates to the mean" in the second half.

Will Rayman hits a corner three with ten seconds left, and Colgate hangs on, 75-72. Rayman had a season high 24 (including a career-high six threes) and Rapolas Ivanauskas added 23 and 10.

Apparently Holy Cross is not the only team that can squander a big lead. Seems to be happening with some frequency in the PL. So, not only can any team beat any other team on any given day as 45 likes to say but having a big double-digit lead, especially early in the game does not assure a win.

Lehigh dominating Navy, 36-18 with 3m left in first half. Navy shooting abysmally as usual (26%), Lehigh 54% (46% deep). Tejada and Andree with a dozen apiece.

Birdsong is just an absolute buffoon....i mean, he is really disturbing with some of those calls. I really thought, for the longest time, I was the only one. I always hear how entertaining he is, how much passion he has, it's just a game, etc. He. Is. A. Hack. Oh, and AU was really lucky to win today. Of Army's 16 missed threes, I'd say 12 were quality, open looks, including Emezie's last-second miss. We had nothing to do with their poor shooting from deep.

Watching Bucknell v Lehigh Senior leadership matters and Bucknell has Sestina and McKenzie Despite the wonderful potential of Floyd we don’t have one junior or senior at their level of play. The rest of the Bucknell roster follows their lead and learns from each.
To bad because despite the pomeroy numbers, if our sophomores had them as examples they would be significantly better.

Bucknell wins 87-75. Neither team could hit a three with Lehigh 6-22 and Bucknell 6-24. Lots of free throws as 44 PF called

The front courts of Bucknell and Lehigh are so far superior to Holy Cross’ — it’s scary to imagine what next year will bring without Floyd.

We have two seniors playing significant minutes not sure where you're coming from on senior leadership. Maybe they're not POY candidates as the Bucknell duo are but give me a break Bucknell has better players than us up and down their roster. Once again tonight down at half and blew out Lehigh in 2nd half. They have out scored opponents in 2nd half by 122 points this season. You have to give them credit lost 3 first team all league player and tonight basically wrapped up regular season title. In all likelihood will have two 1st team all league players this year. Will it end with their graduation or will players step up again next year to keep it going. It seems they recruit at a different level than the rest of the league.

The rest of the Bucknell roster follows their lead and learns from each. To bad because despite the pomeroy numbers, if our sophomores had them as examples they would be significantly better. Or perhaps the HC players would be better off if they had a coach who didn’t just roll out the same stubborn, basic gameplan every damn game, and instead focused on developing the players and adjusting his system/gameplans to match the players’ strengths. Perhaps they would be better off with a coach who was actually going to roll up his sleeves and reverse the losing culture that has permeated the program over the last 7-8 years, instead of the nonchalant we don’t need captains or to focus on intangibles, we’re just gonna make more shots than the other team approach.

The team lacks any upper class leadership which is not the fault of any player but is more a statement about the state of the program. Younger players learn by example and “follow the leaders” and when the program is legitimate you merely reload and the next group steps up.
No player on this team has been able to learn from those above them, with the possible exception of the freshmen class.
I believe the staff is attempting to put this in place but we need to remember the cupboard was less than full when they took over. And I while I am not a great fan of the philosophical approach, I want to be fair and call balls and strikes-I know wrong sport.

The front courts of Bucknell and Lehigh are so far superior to Holy Cross’ — it’s scary to imagine what next year will bring without Floyd. I though that to. But the style of play does not use Floyd's strengths. The playing style doesn't like post ups or stress offensive rebounding. The guards next year coming in should run the offense better and be able to score.
