15:38 Lafayette 56 Lehigh 48
Every time Lehigh gets on a run, Lafayette weathers the storm.

Wow, Lafayette's Jaworski just got a cheap technical imo - was frustrated with being called for a blocking foul, slapped the floor in anger....and got T'd up. Geez, cut the kid some slack Zebra!

Lafayette-Lehigh a pretty entertaining game; some might think that to be an oxymoron. Petrie kid is really good.

Looks like “all things gravitate to the mean” may be holding true for Bucknell shooting in the second half, e.g. 5/6 on threes

Lehigh with the help of the Refs won. They are no threat at all. Not impressed.
A lane violation on a miss. Come on. Refs go to Lehigh?

They showed a replay of the first foul shot where the Lafayette kid supposedly went into the lane early.....just really pathetic to call it. Absolutely no impact on anything; I bet it happens in hundreds of games every year.. Tech was bush too; calling it for a kid slapping the floor in a 1 point game between two close rivals. No chippiness going on; just 2 teams going back and forth. Just a case of the ref making the game about him. Wow, can't believe I'm so worked up about this lol.

Bucknell wins by 1 at Army!

Well Army lost on a layup with 1 second left.
Don't mean to be harsh but a 24 point lead ball AND BALL in Hand with 37 seconds left and you loose the game by 1.
How can you recover from that loss. I would be so mad if I was in Army fan, that is an embarrassment. They didn't blow the lead to Duke or the Celtics, they blew the lead to Bucknell.
It shows that even though Bucknell and Lehigh won, they are not great teams.

Dean - I think someone has hacked non-Alum's account. I have sat near him at enough games to guarantee he would never speak to a ref like that.

For a league not in the entertainment business, it was a pretty entertaining opening night!

American wins, 86-74. Sa'eed Nelson bounced back with 30p, 6a, but still plagued by TOs (7). Iorio added 23, Gasperini 12.

Lehigh with the help of the Refs won. They are no threat at all. Not impressed. Lehigh was 11-14 from deep, and lead the country in 3FG%. Any team that can do that is a threat, but HC has been very good defending the three (30%).

Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure he'd have something to prove after the GW game and come out fired up. In addition to the three players noted above, Larry Motuzis and Stacy Beckton, Jr., each played outstanding all-around games. They each made some huge shots down the stretch after BU cut what had been a 16-point second-half deficit to five. Seventh win of the season, after winning six all of last year. Very proud of these kids for sticking together after a horrific season.
