Other than a Harvard degree, which of course, is a lot, why would a very good player want to play his games in a gym that holds 1636 ?? Many of these top players could go to many fine schools where bball is far more important. and other than Jeremy Lin, has H produced any other NBA players ?

JF is saving us on defense time and time again. Nice block of an attempted jam to end the half. Want to see him getting the ball more down low if we are to come back - Harvard couldn't stop his nice hook (on one of his very few shots first half).

Really don’t like PB in the rotation would prefer a different option He has contributed significantly over the past three seasons but he is not a positive any longer Many of you love his energy but he now takes away much more than he gives Substitutions are at best questionable Benzan is a fine player, but we also have no other options. He is light years ahead of Zignorski, and Copeland’s minutes indicate that he is not ready to contribute.

At the game. Team looks tight, out of sync. That’s why they play two half’s!

2 consecutive alley-oop dunks for Harvard's Baker. 6'11" athlete with very long arms is tough to stop.

Harvard looks like a very good team and really turned the heat on HC.
We only have 3 guys who can play in a game like this right now - Floyd, Grandison, Green.
Others are just overmatched by the length & athleticism.
Benzan fueled a nice run early in the 2nd half, but unfortunately it was not sustainable.

Benzan on the back side for each dunk Not sure why you have such a thing for Benzan, but the idea that he is different than others on the defense is a joke. One starter has been like a traffic cone guarding Harvard players on the perimeter.

HC on a 12-0 run now. Harvard, 64-57, 4m left. Butler and Floyd on the bench.

Sad, no effort in this game whats so ever. Niego misses both free throws and a wide open 3
Enough with the articles about Floyd, to much hype. I love Floyd. But can he score some points.

Floyd finishes with two shots from the field - fewest since the PLT loss to Navy on March 2, 2017, about forty games ago.

Impressions: Harvard has a very deep bench; HC is seriously lacking in that area. A couple of Harvard guys had career nights while HC was just missing on many shots. Floyd can be a non factor against some teams, e.g.., Harvard. Nice mini comeback at the end. HC still a PL contender.

Some statistical lowlights . . . Season high 14 turnovers for Holy Cross, Another poor performance on the D-boards (65%). Harvard EFG, 62.5%.

Harvard's got some good young players (and their two injured stars are juniors) and very good height/length down low. Baker, an athletic 6'11 player was better than I thought and their frosh Kirkwood was a surprise. That is a very deep team.

Baker was most impressive and the early edge to Harvard on personal fouls (HC missed several at key points) helped Harvard first to take the lead from HC and then to keep it. Harvard was the better team tonight without a doubt.
Let's see how HC does against FDU (who beat us last year at their court in Teaneck, NJ). This may be a pivotal game.

Floyd with only two shots is ridiculous. He and Butler have been basically no shows against the better competition. Butler 5 for 37 in those 3 games. No help from bench other than Benzan, Niego scoreless. Unfortunately playing with only two classes no help from junior or freshmen class. Grandison is the real deal and a definite POY candidate.
