Also, aside from Grandison & Green (who have clearly separated themselves) and Niego's first half vs Michigan, the play from the "outstanding" Sophomore class has been pretty abysmal against the Top 100 teams. Players 3-6 in that class have yet to show that they can ramp things up when the talent, size, and athleticism of the opposition increases.
You hit the nail on the head! They are sophomores playing against Top 100 competition. If they were as competitive or beating the Top 100 competition, they wouldn't be at HC.
bbc, I am glad you do not buy the "fine and dandy" since I never saw anyone say that after a loss. Why put words into other people's mouths? I don't think any HC fan felt/feels good when the team loses, even to some good competition. Why do you seem to want folks to think they do?
