Remember when there were Coaches shows from the Compass Restaurant and Dick Lutsk asked the questions? What ever happened to that?

Yes....exactly.....we are "UNINFORMED." I'm not paranoid. You know there are a number of posters who regret the secrecy, not to mention the fans who are not posters here. It's not conspiracy. It's facts.

HC will be the 10th seed. Correct? Who does the 10th seed play in the first round? HC plays #7 seed, probably either Bucknell, Navy or Loyola. HC won only one of the 6 times we played those teams. HC lost to those teams by an average of 12 points. A single elimination tourney, correct? Anyone taking bets on whether HC wins a game in the Tournament?

I certainly wouldn’t. I just don’t see it happening. I believe HC will be playing the 7th seed. It is single elimination as I believe every conference tourney is. When you lose, you go home.

Remember when there were Coaches shows from the Compass Restaurant and Dick Lutsk asked the questions? What ever happened to that? Those shows were effectively infomercials with HC buying time on WEEI. The school decided to stop buying the time. They started this year by doing some sort of new format as a podcast. I don't know if that is still happening or not. I don't see it pushed on the website. Clocktower was kind enough to let the board know when there was a radio show. If the podcasts are happening, no poster is spreading the word here. As part of the whole infomercial concept, Dick Lutsk is a contractor employed by the school. He is not an independent journalist who is going to ask hard questions

Does anyone even listen to the radio anymore. Kind of like taking pen to paper or reading a newspaper. Having said that, I used to tune in occasionally to the coaches show. Weren't they doing them from the Hogan Pub not long ago?

Weren't they doing them from the Hogan Pub not long ago? After a couple of years at a local bar, the show was broadcast from the pub for the 2018-2019 school year I think part of the original intent was people could ask questions. No random patrons paid attention at the Compass Tavern, so they thought it might get more audience participation with students hopefully showing up to see their pals

Just win, baby. It also doesn't hurt when you have an out-going coach who enjoys selling his program. Cowboy Jack Bicknell at BC was the perfect match to the program (Flutie) he had to sell and BG comes to mind with his long running HC WBB show. I think Bob Chesney has that same enjoyment of marketing HC FB in the community.

I will very likely catch the second half of the Army game that way tonight I sometimes listen to talk radio in the car

The Coaches Shows at the Compass Tavern were scrapped two years ago in favor of moving it to Hogan. Then that was scrapped in favor of "Sader Stories" with no set time and can be recorded at guests convenience. While not consistent, the full slate can be can be found here: open.spotify.com/show/1hw3afXjqQTFRKnPEpvdIhAll these moves were made by HC, not WEEI.
