AU was up by 3 with five seconds left. Don't know if they deliberately chose to defend rather than foul . . . but Georgetown's Jayden Epps hit a three to tie and force OT. Tough, probably avoidable loss for AU. AU lost Epps on a screen. A late close out from a help defender Catch and shoot, no chance to foul

Not worthy of its own thread, so I'll ask here: What's the story w/Nolan Dorsey, thought he got some kind of waiver and was eligible for Campbell right away? Is not in their cumulative stats. Cannot find any mention of an injury.

Just looked. He is listed on their roster and is also shown as an active scholarship player on verbal commits.
I suppose the next step in the investigation is watch a Campbell game on ESPN+ and see if he's dressed on the bench

Implication: Either injured or not eligible.

I believe that he would have needed a waiver as a two time transfer

Our freshman was supposed to give the foul and he didn't – but we shouldn't have been in zone defense in that situation, either. Coach took responsibility.

Bucknell beat Southern Indiana ( D 2 ?) Southern Indiana is D1 - Ohio Valley Conference. They lost their previous game at La Salle by one, which led me to believe Bucknell was a likely loser to them tonight. Instead, to my surprise, final was Bucknell 67, Southern Indiana 56. So. Ind. next visits Duke for the conclusion of the Duke-sponsored multi-team event. From some talks with Griffin, I think it is unlikely that he will ever schedule a D2/D3. After being left a very poor roster by Nathan Davis, Griffin scheduled too tough this year.

And LaSalle is 4-0, about to be 4-1 after today’s Duke contest Another improved Philly team, St.Joe’s, lost a great opportunity to win at Kentucky last night. Could be a resurgence of Philly Big 5(6?)

Simon Wilbar is not listed on the Maryville Scots roster. Tough to get a waiver to play right away at your fourth college.

I don't belong to Twitter so maybe he has more current info on that.

Simon Wilbar is not listed on the Maryville Scots roster. Tough to get a waiver to play right away at your fourth college. It's D3, don't think he would need one. If he only has 1 or 3 semesters of eligibility left, could see him sitting out the fall and playing in the winter.

Once you play one game, that uses up an entire year of eligibility, not just a semester, under NCAA rules. The one exception is some arcane ivy league rule that has applied a couple of times over the past decades.

Simon should have 5-6 inch height advantage over many of the guys guarding him in D-3

Harvard is at Colgate this afternoon. Should be a good matchup. The Johnnies play a tough non-conference schedule and are off to a good start.

In easily beating Kansas last night, our fellow Jesuit school, Marquette, looks as if it has a realistic chance at going far in the Tourney. We will find out more when they play Purdue today. Marquette’s All America point guard, Tyler Kolek, was originally recruited to and played for George Mason by Dave Paulsen, and transferred to Marquette when Dave was let go at Mason. (That, except Dave’s name, was mentioned on the broadcast last night.) Let’s hope Dave’s latest recruit named Tyler has similar success.

Paulsen definitely had some very strong recruits commit to him at Mason.

Paulsen definitely had some very strong recruits commit to him at Mason. Another Paulsen George Mason player was Jordan Miller, who played on Miami’s Final 4 team last season, was drafted in the NBA second round and is playing on a two way contract with the Clippers.
