‘gate goes down 76-70 Harvard shot 49 pct incl 43 pct from three and committed only 6 turnovers Ivy sports (exc football this fall) is head and shoulders better than the PL in ‘every’ sport - it wasn’t supposed to be this way

Yale - Colgate game was not in New Haven - of all places it was played in Monkton New Brunswick - would love to know the backstory on this venue Ah, yes, Moncton, the best place to view the Tidal Bore. Been there, done that.

There are 50 D1 games on the day after Thanksgiving plus 13 TBD which I assume are part of a tournament. That seems crazy to me. Those Friday games should be on Saturday or Sunday.

Princeton is 5-0 coming off a 20 point road win at ODU yesterday. The Tigers opened the season with a solid win over Rutgers at a neutral site (Cure Arena in Trenton) although RU fans filled most of the seats. They also beat Hofstra, the CAA champion, on the road. Next up--Northeastern and the first home game for PU. The IL also can claim victories over Temple (by Columbia) and Villanova (Penn).

BC lost to Colorado State today by 12.
Interesting to note the Eagles went 20-20 from the foul line.

There are 15 games today; all part of tournaments. That explains the 15, not 13, TBD listed for tomorrow. Some are pretty good matchups if you get tired of watching football.

Princeton beats Northeastern at Jadwin today 80-66 to move to 6-0. Former Crusader Joe Pridgeon started for the Huskies and played all of the 2nd half. He is still pretty much an inside player, although he did hit a key 3 pointer late in the 2nd half. Huskies are well coached.

Druzi and the Cleveland State Vikings are having a pretty good year.

This is Wade's 5th season, so this is his last season
Pridgen sat a year after transferring to Northeastern, I think he actually has a year of eligibility after this.
Not sure about Drew Lowder. He did not play D-I ball between Eastern Mich and Cleveland. I have it in the back of my mind that there was a D-III school during that year, but I can't confirm if he played basketball during that time or not. Not sure if he has another year of eligibility or not

Really who cares unless Dave Paulsen thinks any of them should transfer back to Holy Cross?
Has their departure from HC helped them in any way? Athletically? Academically? Socially?
Gone. Goodbye. For me, they are just a few of thousands of college basketball players who we won’t see again for or against the Crusaders.

I dont neccesarily seek them out, but as someone who watches bits and pieces of all kinds of low-mid major games on ESPN + I run into them once in a while.

Not sure he wants a sixth year of college, but if he chooses another year at Northeastern, you might see him next year. There's something budgetary about a home and home that doesn't need a hotel

For me, they are just a few of thousands of college basketball players who we won’t see again for or against the Crusaders. Joe P. ended up with a lateral transfer academically at Northeastern and maybe a masters degree, but my main take-away is if a coach could have retained all three, got them all to buy-in and had the skill to maximize Joe and Drew's offensive potential within a team structure, HC would have ended up with two plus scorers and a defensive specialist/rotation guy playing together in the same system for four seasons. If DP can keep the core contributors together at Holy Cross for four seasons each, that is half the battle right there in a senior driven league. Add in his experience in recruiting and coaching and games like last night against SJU will be building blocks to somewhere as opposed to HC's strong performance against Maryland in the above trio and their coach's first game at HC was a building block to nowhere.

Louisville played New Mexico State today. NMS dressed 10, missing their best player. 6 fouled out, 4 had to finish. It still took Louisville an overtime to win.

AU played no defense in the first half against D3 Hood College, and was down 42-40 at the half. AU played defense in the second half, and wound up winning 103-74. We finished 19-45 on threes; the 19 makes are a school record.

Wow 45 threes ! How many total FG attempts did you have ? We were 36-70 overall from the floor. First time we've scored more than 100 since 1996-not surprisingly, also against a D3 team (Catholic University).

When you're fouling twice per play, they really add up fast. . . .

Last night during the UConn- UNH game the announcer reported that Bison 137’s best friend and favorite coach, Nathan Davis, had faced UConn’s star transfer, Cam Spencer, at all three of Spencer’s schools (Rutgers and Loyola, Baltimore) in every season Spencer has played.
