He was the offensive coordinator for the 0-10 SBU SeaWolves. To be fair, their quarterback situation was beyond description and the head coach (since fired) lost the team about three years ago.

Not a great looking hire on paper. But, on paper might not mean much.

Like all coaching staffs, head coaches hire guys they know. Just ask Bob Chesney.

Very solid in multiple years at Maine - one year in the dumpster fire @ SB - shouldn't get much, if any, blame for that. In Curran we trust!

Going to be interesting to see what the plays look like next year with a more pro style QB in Joey P and a hard nosed back in Fuller. I believe Curran called plays at MC, will he relinquish duties to Dresner. Have to watch some of his previous games

Great hire! Will help with D line production and will be a great teacher and role model. Will also be a fantastic recruiter in Massachusetts.

So we enticed a guy to move from FBS to FCS..,.. Strange - assuming one considers UMass an actual FBS program - and he's a UMass alum.

More evidence HC continues to be a destination site for coaches & players.

In addition to DC, does Vaganek still have LB? Who has RB?

The Coaches link on the football roster page has been removed. Someone in the SID office finally noticing the personnel changes?

With the staff announced & identified, any thoughts on scheme changes? I'd imagine the offense will be 'Spread to Run' & the defense will largely be the same.

Browers recruiting areas are Georgia and Florida.
I'd imagine he helps out with MA kids as well, but glad to get confirmation we're still working on those two states.

He also has 413 - which is Western MA - essentially Springfield - where he coached at Springfield Central.
Schell has CT, TX, Philly Catholic.
Walsh has MI, IL, IN
Gunnell has OH - not sure what else
I’m sure Vaganek will have same spots - Northern NJ and Central FL
We know DMV will be covered well
Prob need to figure out PA, Carolina’s, Eastern MA
My guess is Dresner will stick with NY

It'd be fun for me personally to see my high school get some recruiting love (Scranton Prep), but they haven't really had much D1 talent that it's not surprising.
The only player maybe worth a look by schools is a 5'10 LB so probably destined for D2 or 3.
