Incredible to see a teammate who won 12 olympic medals (TWELVE) be practically ignored. No wonder he colored his hair...something to get attention? Ryan Lochte was all the rage four years ago. He's famous for being the embodiment of a swimming frat bro.

I'll suggest Edwin Moses who won dozens of high level 400 meter high hurdles races in a row--I think he went for years without losing. Another would have to be Herb Elliott --I believe the story on him is that this great miler from Australia (correction-not NZ) never lost a race in his adult career--I'll have to check that out to see if that's legend or truth. Still you have a great case with Ledecky Moses is a great reference. Not sure he measures up to Ledecky when you factor in margin of victory though. As Rowdy Gaines said on Sunday night, Leah Smith (the American who won the bronze) once said that she was so thrilled to still be in eyesight of Ledecky's feet when she won a recent race. The girl was celebrating before anyone else even finished on Sunday.

How about Michael Phelps --19 gold medals !! In terms of breadth of his skillset and his staying power, Phelps is obviously more impressive. But when it comes to Ledecky's events, I honestly can't think of another athlete who is so dominant over her competitors that the actual race/game/match is just a formality. That's where Ledecky is in the 400 and 800 free (and the 1500 in non-Olympic tournaments). There is no question that she's going to win, just by how much. Tonight's 200 is the only event that anyone else even has a chance against her.

Let's see if we can get this discussion going. To channel Linda Richman, I'll give you a topic: Greater display of dominance -- Tiger Woods from 1997-2002, or Katie Ledecky's recent run through the international swimming schedule (click to enlarge)? Attachment Deleted

alum- Cumbayah. (And there already is an elevator to the visitors press box.) Glad to hear there is an elevator. I am under the impression from reading here that the boxes are substandard. My point is that if the College were to do work on the stadium, improvements in the boxes would be contemplated and that those upgrades would create an accessible space anyway so that we should not have to worry about the ADA cost. As to Kumbyaya, a little reading for you. www.npr.org/2012/01/13/145059502/when-did-kumbaya-become-such-a-bad-thingI called HC football games for three years. The Fitton press box is an absolute joke. I'm surprised it passes general inspection codes, let alone ADA requirements. It's basically a plywood box with two narrow rows of seating that shakes and rattles when any gust of wind blows over 15 MPH.

Bill Russell made blocks like lebrons on a nightly basis This seems pretty hyperbolic. Admittedly I never got to watch Russell on a regular basis, but my first job out of college was as a video logger/editor for NBA TV. At one point we did a full half-hour show on Russell which included a ton of old game footage, including an entire segment on his defense, so I sifted through dozens of old clips of his blocks. I don't remember ever seeing one he made that compares to LeBron's, in which he tracked a smaller, faster opponent from halfcourt and stapled the layup attempt. Besides, if we're going to discount LeBlock because of frequency of similar plays, dozens of lesser players make shots like Irving's every week in the NBA.

Kyrie's shot was unbelievably clutch to be sure, but it was also something that happens 5-6 times a game. LeBlock is the kind of thing you see 5-6 times a season, and would have been a showstopping play regardless of when it occurred.

The backboard just stopped reverberating, so I give the edge to LeBron's block. Just a stunning display of athleticism, awareness, and hustle.

Is it possible to change the settings of the profanity filters? I'm not opposed to having a filter, but perhaps curse words could be "bleeped" with dashes or asterisks rather than the current setting of altering the word (e.g. 'sh-t' becomes 'stuff,' 'fu--' becomes 'frig,' etc.).
Even if you keep the altering of the word, maybe you can at least not capitalize it? If I write, "This Stuff is a Friging joke," it looks ridiculous with the capital letters.

Is there a way we can help to get the word out? I only found this by going Crossports.com to see if there was any news about the old board, but I imagine there are plenty of people who just had the board address bookmarked and won't think to go to the "home page."
As it stands, I'll let the people I know personally about it.

Here's how you do that:
1. Copy the URL of the specific Tweet you want to embed (the URL itself, not the embed code) 2. Click on the Reply button (Quick Reply won't work) 3. The last function button on that page has coding brackets (<_>). Click on it and select Twitter 4. Paste the Tweet URL and submit
