furious comeback by northwestern might be ruined by an idiotic technical from collins. gotta keep your cool in crunch time. They missed the call, no doubt about it, but you can't run out 5 feet on the court like that. Made a 2 point play (the 2 they lost) into a 4 point play. Except for the time at BU that Pitino ran PAST George Blaney giving Fran Foley the choke sign..and Foley didn't do anything.

Page not showing Collins made excuses ("anyone would have done the same thing") for the behavior instead of apologizing to his team and school

Commonwealth of Kentucky is a cesspool when it comes to college sports. Let's hope Calipari and UK are bounced next.

agree 100 pct ! belien is a class act - pitino is the opposite - the michigan story starting with the plane (near) serious accident to the sweet 16 is the story of this march

Kind of weird when Michigan is the Cinderella story but I do like John Beilein.

ACC--1-5 in round of 32

The last block of the game was clean...double team and neither one laid a glove on the shooter. I think there was one bad call down the stretch...they reviewed a three point attempt by WS to see if it was tipped...it wasn't but it was a clear foul...kind of points out the problem with some of these replays.

So the other 4 power conferences got 3 teams each in the Sweet 16...and even the much-maligned Big East got 2. Other two are ACC (out of 9 teams, they got ONE). and WCC.

Kind of weird when Michigan is the Cinderella story but I do like John Beilein. I'll go with Xavier as Cinderella so far. Lost their best player to injury mid-season, struggled and then late push. Mack is a very good coach. Michigan is the sentimental story but not Cindy story based on their talent and coaching.

South Carolina and its win over Duke is a pretty good story. None are really Cinderallas.

True, I agree that there seem to be no real "Cinderellas" this year...but the overall basketball seems to me better that it has in recent years. I appreciate that, even if an underdog wins to blow up my bracket.

This tourney will be hard pressed to match the dramatic ending of last year's final game.--imo the definitive memory of that tourney.

Going by verbal commits composite ranking, the school with the lowest average star's left in the tourney is.... Wisconsin. Not many would have guessed that.

Just saw Exhibit A concerning the negative effects of replay. 5 minutes to judge something (out of bounds call in Gonzaga/WV game) anyone could see in about 15 secons,
