No easing into the Tournament for followers of the Ivy and PL. Princeton kicks off the Thursday games at 12:15 against Notre Dame, and following them on the same court in Buffalo is Bucknell against West Virginia.
Have to think there will be strong crowds there for both Princeton and Bucknell.

Only three New England schools in the tourney this season - Vermont, Providence, and Rhode Island. Pretty exciting for college basketball in the state of RI since it is the first time two local schools made the tournament since 1997 (PC and URI then as well-also occurred previously in 1978) . While many teams were shown on the Selection Show watching their name be called out in their cushy basketball lounges, this is how the Rhody players (in route back to RI via commercial flight at the Pittsburgh Airport) found out who and where they were playing:
PC vs Southern California 03/15/17 9:10pm truTV Dayton Play In Game (winner plays 03/27/17 3:10pm truTV Tulsa) Vermont vs Purdue 03/16/17 7:27pm truTV Milwaukee URI vs Creighton 03/17/17 4:30pm TBS Sacramento

He obviously forgot that Maryland was now in the big 10, not the ACC with Fla State He also answered a call about UVA, responding that they would not go far because of their injuries They have had no major injuries

Princeton - ND very good game now. I know Princeton has more talent than HC, but their version of the PO looks nothing like ours. very few possessions taking it down to the last seconds on the shot clock.

I don't hate ND but I don't like Brey at all. Too bad Princeton couldn't pull it out.

I know Princeton has more talent than HC Based on watching first half, we're not even close in talent Princeton, kenpom 56 They are tall at every position and they can shoot. Tough loss for them today. We have recruited longer for next year, but 6 frosh and no center, BC has his work cut out for him. Stephens has the body to play the middle, question does he have the talent. Oh and by the way, Princeton REBOUNDS!!

A nice gameplan from Nathan Davis to attack West Virginia when they have opportunities, but Bucknell is getting zippo from anyone other than Foulland and McKenzie.
