The fact that we are winning 51-26 with 6 left and many of us are still worried..... Before you get too many deep, would love to know your feelings on this win. I just said./posted..best win since he's been at HC. Yes, I've been highly critical of him and yes, he's deserved that criticism imo....do I have to go through the laundry list of games lost which coulda, shoulda been wins? The embarrassment that was the Yankee Stadium game last year etc etc etc? The fact that this is his 15th season at HC and this is his biggest win is somewhat telling. (the reintroduction of scholarships, upgrade of the facilities and schedules has helped) OK (steam blown off)...a very good win today, hopefully we can build on it.

In other news BC wearing shorts against ND. Look like idiots. They always look like idiots I thought it was one guy, Landry- had no socks and no knee pads. Trying for "best player who looks terrible" award, if one exists.

Lehigh and Fordham fans beside themselves on the AGS board about how bad both clubs have looked. One said HC is the class of the league with only Colgate having any chance to stop us. My how times have changed very quickly. Very happy for the kids and the staff. Let's keep it going next week!

How did we manage to start on the 5 yard line? UNH turnover.

This may have been said before but Peter is the best quarterback in the Patriot League by far. We've had improvements across the board but without Peter we wouldn't be as dominant as we've been this year

It has been mentioned, but CTG has put together a solid staff this year and I hope they (as in al of the coaches) have all the success with this team that they so richly deserve. There is an energy here (easily seen when the video works!) that can be seen and will serve this team well!

We've had improvements across the board but without Peter we wouldn't be as dominant as we've been this year I agree, but he has yet to have a full game close to his potential. He appear at times to be still getting into game shape. His leadership is now in TOP FORM without a doubt.

For those who might have missed it -- HC touchdown on a reverse with a pulverizing block by Pujals.

I think that 21-39 for 367 and 5 TDs with no interceptions plus a crushing block on a TD reverse against a highly touted defense is close to or at his potential. It seems to me he is in TOP FORM.

From the telecast it seemed as if many freshmen played key roles. PP should get PL offensive PoW Will they give McBeath and Wells two def and specialist PoW and in a row ?

Well, for many posters, if we go forward from here, it'll be because of Peter Pujals just like it was Dom Randolph and the wins will have nothing to do with Coach Gilmore. Gilmore was "dumb lucky" to get Randolph and will be "dumb lucky" that he got Pujals.

I will note that Stadium appears to be back to normal, now that there are no live football games. When Victoria's Secret first streamed fashion shows on the web, these inevitably crashed. Back in those long ago days, load balancers were just coming into their own. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Load_balancing_(computing)

OK, obviously back from the game (nice to meet you ACTP). There are many reasons for the totally unexpected win today - at least the margin of victory, since some smart people did pick an upset. The first reason was because NAD led many of us to start the "you, you, you . . . . ON YOU!" cheers whenever UNH got a penalty. Hey, if it works for basketball, why not try it for football? IMO, the entire team played inspired for who knows why. Some guesses: 1. Ring of Honor; 2. first home game; 3. the players love the uniforms (they grew on me as the game progressed and , yes, the numbers are harder to read according to my wife); 4. the guys felt they had something to prove because few gave them a chance to win despite a close loss to UConn and a nice win, despite not the best played game against the Bison; 5. the talented freshmen are getting playing time and spelling upper classmen so they are fresher, longer into the game; 6. the Crusaders are finally having the ball bounce our way (gravitating to the mean as KY75 says) and once we got momentum going you could feel the confidence level rising for the Crusaders and sapping for the Wildcats. The one thing I really miss when we go to the games is seeing replays so thanks for posting the video replay of PP's devastating block on the TD on the reverse. I saw it coming but never expected it to be as hard as it was. Told some of the guys that when we lived in the Columbus area and Orlando Pace was playing for the Buckeyes, they used to count how many times in a game he "pancaked" a defender. Not sure I would say Peter did that exactly but I haven't seen a block that any time recently and especially not from a QB. The Ring of Honor ceremonies were outstanding. Kudos again td128! Sat with Joe Wilson, Paul Scopetski and classmate Tom Lamb and Crucis. Met Denny Golden before the ceremonies and just the nicest person you could ever meet. I used to be terrified of him when I saw him on campus as a freshman. Spent a little quality time with Gordie Lockbaum (and got to ask him for a favor for our Insurance group for Homecoming). Because I was listening to all the interesting speeches, I missed both official tours of the LAC but took one on my own and caught up with the 10:45 tour finishing up. We got to pop into the men's BB locker room and met some of the players. Mrs. sader1970 remarked how impressed she was with all the football alums and their speeches and love for HC. Dr. Golden's speech was superlative and hopefully the video they took will be available. David Murphy's was outstanding as well but slightly different. Eddie Anderson's grandson's speech was also reflective of what we have come to expect of a Holy Cross grad - a fine young alum. Edit: I knew as I wrote above, it sounded familiar:

It is definitely Gabe. The number is clearly 31 . . . . am I the only one who can read the numbers on these uniforms? Obviously I am not one of those but if the unis at all contributed to our play, keep them on

Today's star receiver Junior Martin Dorsey, had only 1 reception in his first two seasons. He was last year's unsung hero for the support of his teammates, physically, emotionally and spiritually Great to see good things happen to such a respected young man
