Any games at Mohegan Sun ? Yes, the final two games. HC will first play Stony Brook. Then either Siena or Norfolk State. Good chance to pick up two wins.

HC—290 Siena—303--- no seniors played appreciable minutes last year But at least four of their top players have transferred out. Personnel-wise, they will be far worse. Otoh, they will have a better coach.

Otoh, they will have a better coach. If you want to recalculate Siena, here is the current status of player: Definitely gone: Nico Clareth, Prince Oduro, Jordan Horn Probably gone: Roman Penn (has made several official visits elsewhere but hasn't committed yet) possibly gone: Bentley Oduro and Penn were starters most of the year, although Penn missed the last four weeks due to injury. Clareth was their leading scorer until,he left the team at mid season. Horn started the second half of the season. Also Siena had both of their incoming recruits decommitted. They added two this week, but both are projects who won't help much this year if ever.

November 10th——Another battle of the alma maters. I believe this will be the 5th in the series with HC winning the first one in the 1948 NCAA tournament and Michigan winning the last 3 (1977 NCAA tournament vs. #1 ranked Michigan [when both John O’Connor and RP Jr. missed the game with injuries], 1988 Utah Classic [where Michigan lost to D-II Alaska in a monumental first round upset and took it out on the Scooter Tropf-less Crusaders in the consolation game...and went on to win the NCAA championship in March, 1989] and December, 2013 [where HC lost by 22 to an eventual Elite 8 Michigan team without AT who was out with a concussion]).
I’m all Purple in these matchups. The trend line hasn’t been good for HC in the last 3 where HC has had to play without a key player or players and Michigan has had an NCAA tournament top 4 seed club. Hopefully, the Wolverines will struggle with first game adjustments after the departures of Wagner, Abdur Rakhman, Robinson and, possibly, Mathews and HC will enter the game injury-free and can hang in there. In any case, I plan to attend and will be sporting HC garb acquired pre-2018.
Lastly, if history is any guide, playing HC means the Wolverines have had (or will have) an outstanding year...and in three of the four previous cases, playing Michigan means that HC has had (or will have) a 20 win season. Hopefully, these trends hold true again in ‘18-‘19.

Assuming we are already playing Siena at the Hart (the home and home), I hope we get Norfolk State.

Stony Brook’s leading and only double figure scorer(15.3) and rebounder(5.1) , Yeboah, Is back He is 6’6”, 235 He is quite a player and add to that the America East Rookie of the Year last year, Elijah Olaniyi (6'5", 200, 4th leading scorer this year). Strong (and interesting) recruiting class also. SBU should be favored.

If you know from sources, it disagrees with VC which has all 5 recruits, 3 listed as point guards,(one signed today) as 2 stars, Now, as we know, 2 star recruits can be strong college players.

Big recruiting class as you note. On top of the talented returnees Olanyi and Yeboah. Not heading to the top of AE. They did have a need at the point. SBU fan board was particularly excited about Jeffrey Otchere (led all Junior College players in the nation in blocked shots) who has an up side one doesn't see too much of in the AE (or PL for that matter):

Thought I might be able to parlay a Michigan home football game with the hoop game on 11-10, as a Big House game is on my bucket list. They play at Rutgers that day.

One thing to keep in mind about Siena is that up until Christmas, Clareth - a preseason 1st team All-MAAC selection - was clearly their best player. For example, he had 29 points in their game with HC. At that point, Siena was ranked 266th and was 4-9 - but 8 of their 9 losses were to top 160 teams. After Christmas, Clareth was sent to the bench by Patsos and then quit. From that point on, they were 4-15 against a significantly weaker schedule and fell to #303. In the games Clareth did not play, I'd guess they ranked no better than 330th.
