Batt is also pre-season flopper-of-the-year candidate, and living up to expectations. So how can the refs be fooled so often? New version of the old line: "Fool me once...shame on you. Fool me twice...shame on me. Fool me three times...I suck."

I'd love to see HC go M2M late in a game to take away the oppositions 3 point shot..The match up gets beat with good ball movement..Too many players don't have good footwork off the ball...The can't see the ball and the man they are defending and react late to many passes..Eric Green was so good at this, he was constantly moving his head looking around, our players watch the ball too much. Good observation. I would like to see them play more man, too - beginning, middle, end of game.
It's one thing to prefer a zone - like Boeheim or Willard - when you can play it really, really well. It's another to play a zone, no matter how problematic it may be, because you don't think you can play M2M at all. I'm pretty sure we're the only team in the PL that has this issue. Everybody else plays man - some better than others - for sustained stretches in most games. For HC, it's been almost a "junk defense," to flash once or twice.
Don't need to be overly athletic to do it - worth a try for a stretch..

One other thing that drives me batty....Defenders running at 3 point shooters, jumping and running past the shooter...Seems teams no this is the "HC way" and shooters ball fake, let the defender fly past them and then have an uncontested 3....which usually goes in....Why can't players get there sooner and close out on the shooter....It's is frustrating to watch...

To clarify, you think this issue falls on the players? The technique being taught by the coaches is not the issue?

Most definitely it is the technique taught by the staff....I think it goes along with the idea not to commit fouls, same as not going to the O-boards...It is a philosophy I don't agree with, but I'm not the coach...So, we have to live it..
