I think that might be a satire account.

It is a satire acct. This didn't happen. They've duped a lot of people this year.

Did anyone else watch the St. John's/ASU game last night?
I am sorry but St. John's is bad team. They have some athletes and play relatively good defense, but are completely undisciplined. Can't shoot - anything - layups, jump shots - 3 pointers - free throws. And the number of stupid turnovers was unbelievable.
I am not sure that any Patriot League team could beat them, because St. John's has much better athletes - but they are tough to watch. Looked like a pickup game at some park in the summer.
ASU wasn't much better.
Chris Mullin looked disinterested at best.

Sounds like it was an off night because Fugueroa and Heron have been very good three point shooters and Ponds has been above average. As a team St John's is #100 in 3 point percentage and #153 on twos

Considering he left the cold for the desert, he's probably pretty smaht, too.!

I also watched the St John's game. That was dreadful basketball -- it bears no similarity to the game being played at any level of D1.
Looked like an AAU team playing in a late Sunday consolation bracket after going behind the field house and smoking a bowl.

Watched HAAAAAAAAARVARD beat G'town last night! Were you impressed with the Georgetown "arena"? Last time I was at McDonough was in 1975 for a Chuck Berry concert. It didn't look any different last night than it did then.

I was once chased out of McDonough by a security guard during the height of Hoya Paranoia when I was visiting the campus. I assumed he was joking but he was not.

Interesting first game matching Minnesota (coached by Richard Pitino) against Louisville - the school his father is suing for $40 million.
Did the tournament committee know what they were doing?

It is a satire acct. This didn't happen. They've duped a lot of people this year. Pretty sure a commercial flight from Syracuse to Columbus would be cheaper than UBER. Also on NCAA charter flights, I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to leave someone behind. Would imagine thered be some sort of "us everyone on the bus" roll call before take off. I.e. the Coah Oliver role on the Silver Fox buses.

Pretty sure a commercial flight from Syracuse to Columbus would be cheaper than UBER. Perhaps, but unlike a commerical flight from Syracuse to Columbus, an UBER could have gotten him there in less than 2 days.

Watched HAAAAAAAAARVARD beat G'town last night! Were you impressed with the Georgetown "arena"? Quite frankly, I really wasn't paying that much attention to the "arena".... Seemed small and unattractive.... Was really more concerned with the telecast itself... Kept asking "why don't they zoom in a little bit"! Felt like watching the game from "nose bleed" seats. Granted you got to see the whole half court (and then some), the crowd, etc., but .... !

St John's shouldn't have been in the tournament. Either 68 is too great a number or another team deserved entry over Red Storm (Furman??).
How many AQ conferences are there? NCAA bylaw is there has to be a minimum of one at large berth per auto.

Arizona State also does not belong. The PAC was atrocious, never should have had 3 teams

Arizona State also does not belong. The PAC was atrocious, never should have had 3 teams The scary thing about the Pac 12 was that ASU was the second best team. Had Oregon not won the tournament they'd not have been extended a bid. For those that have not set foot in McDonough, it's basically HC's now demolished (or nearly demolished) Field House with gym stands, a nice wooden floor and white paint.

I like how the Excel Center has the Whalers' retired numbers still hanging up there! Then I am sure you will like to listen to this. Tournament has been fun so far. Watching with one eye while doing work. Yale (especially Oni) shot poorly until they drained some threes at the end to stay close but couldn't pull it out. I enjoyed the Minn/Louisville game (esp. because I picked it correctly) and Vermont is threatening an upset. I still love this tournament.

Minnesota beat The Ville: that is not good Because? Florida State will probably lose down the road because their outside shooting is poor, but, boy, they have some loads up front. Board favorite Bill McCarthy on duty for the NU/Kansas game.
