I doubt it. The score may have been closer, but it would be a huge challenge for Gate to close out a very good Tennessee team. Gate shot 45 %, 52 from three. Hard to see that even a good scorer like Ivan would have improved those stats. They even held their own in the glass without him.

The reaction of the player Izzo yelled at (God forbid): "I know what I signed up for, my family did too. I'm all for it." Another example where the allegedly wronged party has no issue, but outsiders say when you should be wronged. Glad the kid hasn't let others convince him that he's some sort of victim

Didn't see the Gate game (tennis practice)...glad to see them rep the PL well. I still don't think there's that much difference top to bottom in the PL... as I also don't think there's that much difference in many cases between some of theose so-called Power teams and mid and low mid majors today.
Different world today in that regard versus say 1980, 1985..maybe even 2000 or so.The Power schools have so much turnovah year to year etc...the way the game is played (emphasis on 3) today also helps the smaller programs.
Love this Wofford team.

Wofford playing tough. Physical front line which rebounds well. Guards are quick too. Didn’t we have these type of teams under RW? ?

Anthony Davis?

Davis was an incredible talent, but he did not impact the college game the way that Zion is. He did not handle the ball the way Zion does. His dribble moves at full speed are unique. Davis averaged 14 and 10 in his one year at Kentucky. He was drafted first pick more on potential than his play that season. Zion- 22 and 9. Zion’s full court bounce pass vs UNC was Magic- like

Apparently the tournament did not go smoothly at the XL Center in Hartford. The game times assigned by the NCAA and tv did not help matters. There was little time between the two sessions to clear out the building, clean it up, and restock concessions. There were additionally many other complaints by fans not addressed in the stories below. Fans had issues navigating the very narrow single concourse for the 14k seat 1970's era arena. Lines were very long for concessions and bathrooms. Concession stands ran out of many items as they did not have adequate inventory. Even UConn legend Rebecca Lobo commented that she couldn't get hot dogs or chicken fingers for her kids at halftime of the 2nd game of the first session Thursday because they had already run out. At March Madness in Hartford, frustrated fans were stuck at entrances to the XL Center and missed part of Villanova-St. Mary’s game www.courant.com/business/hc-biz-march-madness-xl-center-mess-20190322-4af75d265rc7fgavkdifs7stou-story.htmlJeff Jacobs: NCAA, CBS should be on the hook for leaving fans hanging in Hartford www.ctpost.com/sports/jeffjacobs/article/Jeff-Jacobs-NCAA-CBS-should-be-on-the-hook-for-13711521.php

I was in Hartford all day Saturday. Definitely a tough combo of way too little time between sessions (45 minutes) and very poor planning at the concessions. The actual arena itself, while dated, was the least of the problems. As a local, I knew of a little used entrance that helped us avoid the massive crowds waiting to get into the second session. We were seated for the tip of the ‘Nova game but we were among about 1000 people who were there. Having Session 1 on a weekday afternoon when most downtown parking spots are already taken by people working downtown also didn’t help.
