Moved from the other thread.
Now the dust has settled. Colgate is currently 5-1. Massey has them as a 13 point favorite (83-70) at Worcester. It is obvious that this will be two tough games. Any new faces showing up for either team?

Need Butler to play well to have a chance but Richardson is a very tough matchup for him.

Colgate put up 191 points against us two weekends ago. Hopefully we have a plan agains them this time around.

We’re definitely not winning if the game is in the 90s or even 80s.

The fact that a plan may not work does not mean we did not have one. I agree that a high scoring game is not what HC wants. I wonder if we will focus on trying to stop the shots from the 3 point line (especially the corners) that seem to be our undoing when we focus on their big men.

If it doesn't work, means it wasn't a good plan

Execution beats strategy every day
Was it the plan or the execution? Both? Or the Ability to execute?

I hurts to say this, Colgate has better athletes & better shooters. In the end, I like that; because better athletes and better shooters should be "recruitable" by Holy Cross. You might also add "more experienced" to that list; maybe some of the people we have now will end up pretty good.

It's not about the X's and O's, it is about the Jimmy"s and Joe"s....

If it doesn't work, means it wasn't a good plan Does the experience of the players come into this? How about the abilities of the opponent? Are you saying that a good plan will always work? I hope not.

Gates and Faw collide in defensive transition, and Records finds himself one on one with Montgomery under the basket.
That's the highlight. Colgate, 11-0, in three minutes
