I’m just glad we’re not playing BU again! If we do, it will be the finals. Might get more media play than usual if that happens w/the Game 7 angle.

Does anybody have any state pull to allow season ticket holders into the game??? What's the capacity on indoor gatherings? Isn't it 40%?

Navy wraps up the regular season title and number 1 seed by beating Loyola. Lehigh and Lafayette playing now. And Navy just shutdown all sports besides Men's Hoops

Does anybody have any state pull to allow season ticket holders into the game??? What's the capacity on indoor gatherings? Isn't it 40%? BOSTON — Massachusetts is moving forward in its phased COVID-19 reopening plan, as the state will enter Step 2 of Phase 3 on Monday. This next step allows indoor performance venues such as concert halls, theaters, and other indoor performance spaces to open at 50% capacity with a 500-person maximum. Indoor recreational activities with greater potential for contact, including laser tag, roller skating, trampolines and obstacle courses are allowed to reopen at 50% capacity.

If this is indeed the lousy time for the game. Loyola MD has to travel probably by bus all morning to get to the game. Let's make the ride home even longer.

If it is a 12:05 game time, Loyola will definitely be coming up the night before. In fact I will be shocked if they don't come up the night before no matter what the game time is.

Gov. Charlie Baker announced Thursday that, if COVID-19 rates continue their downward trend, Massachusetts will move into Phase 4 of the state’s reopening plan on March 22.
But not entirely.
Like the previous two reopening phases, Phase 4 is being split up into multiple steps, meaning that certain things — like bars and amusement parks — remain indefinitely closed. Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito said Thursday that officials will allow those industries to reopen at a later date under step two of Phase 4.
Here’s a look at what can and cannot reopen on March 22:
What can open in the first step of Phase 4:
Indoor and outdoor stadiums, arenas, and ballparks at 12 percent capacity Overnight camps, beginning this summer Exhibition and convention halls Dance floors, for weddings and events only :

Unless the PL starts messing with the women's schedule, the Middie ladies are toast.

Loyola undoubtedly will travel on Tuesday. Which means they have tomorrow to prepare for the game. HC would have been in a similar boat if it had played games 17 and 18 in Hamilton, and lost both.

And Navy just shutdown all sports besides Men's Hoops what’s reason for not shutting down hoops? They put their men's team into quarantine a week ago to prevent any covid shutdowns.

I believe that not allowing fans for winter sports, i.e., basketball, was a PL rule. Even if fans were now allowed by Massachusetts, the PL would need to modify the rule. The PL is allowing schools to determine whether to have fans for those sports played in the spring, consistent of course with state and local policies.
Students would be allowed before 'fans'. After all, the students are tested twice a week. Not so for fans.
HC does not presently allow visitors into campus buildings without authorization. That is not changing near-term.
I think a good case could be made for allowing fans who are vaccinated, as (1) they are almost entirely protected against even a mild COVID protection, and (2) early, preliminary studies suggest that vaccinated individuals help reduce spread to unvaccinated individuals.
