A cool $2.50 per ticket to help pay off the Stadium debt. It's going to take longer to pay off this way than with my math.😋 My guess is that this is a transaction fee. Whether you buy one ticket or ten tickets, there will be a $12.50 fee. Sad but true in this day and age, it's hard to imagine a per ticket fee as low as $2.50 Real tickets are going by the wayside now with the advent of tickets on the phone now. I know Providence College hockey and UConn baseball are doing those now. I had them at the Belmont Stakes back in 2018 through Ticketmaster. With the Pandemic, it is going to become more common.

Fenway Park has gotten rid of the option of printing tickets at home. Admission is strictly on the phone. I'm lucky that I converted from the flip phone a couple of years ago

Feel for the guy!!! He is a vet and lives in my town!!!
A warning to all... Lafayette Steeet and the area and streets surrounding it are well known to the local authorities. Definitely not the best place to park on the street!!!
A couple years ago, a car was stolen in Worcester, was later found on a street that runs perpendicular to Lafayette!!!

A boosted car (and there have been a lot more than one) found in that Crompton 'hood is small potatoes compared to what has and still goes on there.

Fenway Park has gotten rid of the option of printing tickets at home. Admission is strictly on the phone. I'm lucky that I converted from the flip phone a couple of years ago Three questions: 1. What does that do for people trying to get walk-up tickets? 2. Is there even a ticket booth anymore? 3. If you buy tickets for four different people, do they go on four phones, or one?

If you buy tickets for four different people, do they go on four phones, or one? You just swipe to the next ticket on your phone at the gate. It is pretty easy actually. When I did my Providence College Hockey tickets for the fall it was a 20 dollar charge for tickets to be printed or they would just send them to your phone for free. Fairly easy choice there

Fairly easy choice there Sox did that some years ago, I saved the money, but printed at home I haven't been to Fenway since 2019 so I don't know what they're doing with game day sales. I suppose they could just let you in where you buy the ticket. Last I knew, game day tickets were sold on Lansdowne St I'm not sure how the scalpers work anymore. With all the print at home tickets, I didn't think it was a safe option. Too easy to print and sell multiples. I wouldn't buy from a scalper that didn't have an old fashioned card stock ticket. Obviously this only applies to the illegal scalpers. The legal scalpers will use the ball park app and send the tickets to your phone

Anybody ever get to a game around starting time and buy tickets below face value from a nervous scalper? Did that once at Fenway. Wanted to help the guy out as much as anything. Realized it was risky but it worked out that time.

I used to scalp tickets all the time all over the country. Only time I got burned was once in Chicago at a White Sox when the guy sold me a ticket that had already been scanned in. Having to pay twice to see the friggin’ White Sox did not please me.

I can identify with that. I try to avoid scalpers for just that reason, especially at Yankee Stadium (the old one) and Giant Stadium. The prices they asked on game day were always very good (if the tickets were real), not so great a bargain for a scam with counterfeits.

I'm at Polar Park today inside the DCU club for the WooSox vs Scranton Wilkes Barre Railriders (Yankees). A friend received tickets from his basement contractor. In the front row (section 206) looking straight at home plate and the huge left field video board. Drizzly but you can go inside. It wouldn't be a bad option for the football game because you are farther away from the outfield gridiron but with perfect view of the video board to see every detail of every impactful play and can duck inside in case of cold temps or inclement weather. The coffee ($3) and cheeseburger ($6) are both excellent. Seats are padded and comfortable.

So my $60 bucks per seat will be worth it? If nothing else will show my solidarity with my late mother’s ancestral home.

At the CAF event last Monday, MB said PP's capacity is 9,508... 'small for us'... he expects a sell out for Family weekend
To get there, would students & families have to be 50%?

You would hope 3000 students would generate 4754 attendees including their families on family weekend for the two time defending league champions, but how much will the tickets be for each student and family member and will each family have to find and pay for their own parking in Worcester at night? We parked at the library lot ($15, no more coin meters) which was very convenient, but walking back we ran into a family that was lost trying to find their car. All they could remember is it was in a lot called "Event parking" which could have been anywhere.

I went onto the Woo Sox web site yesterday to order tickets and they wanted $139 per ticket for Sec 2. They have gotta be kidding. I recall receiving an email from HC a while back that offered season ticket holders a code to use to order tickets, but for the life of me I cannot find that email. Anyone know when that email would have been sent and who sent it, so I can track it down?
