I wonder if many/any HC QBs have ever passed for more than 235 yds and run for more than 135 yds in a single game ? Anyone up for some research before Matt tops that ?

Great question Pujals and Randolph ( did he run for 100+ yards a time or two) seem like the likeliest QB’s as I’d guess Pat McCarthy had few big passing yardage games.

Pujals never ran for more than 131 I think that Matt may be the only one. Jack Lentz ran for over 100 seven times, with a high of 173, but probably never passed for 200.

Great opportunity for Buffalo to get to 3-0 in the MAC East tomorrow against Bowling Green.
Our win against them has started to look better and better after UB's close loss to a good Coastal Carolina team, blow out win against EMU, and win over Miami (OH).

The Bulls coach was a good communicator in his remarks about the HC game. Seems like the players are responding to him. Buffalo has probably never had a MAC and an AFC East crown in the same season.

Things could REALLY break our way in the rankings as teams above us (not just Delaware) lose a game here and there, Buffalo snags a few W’s, and we win out.

Win big tomorrow and that will push us up the ladder Bucknell is ranked so low that I’m not sure a 40-point blowout means much. But, style points can’t hurt.

Let's break some Polar Park football records. No thanks to the 2021 (fall) Crusader team who set a high bar.

I wondered the same thing about Hall regarding running, my recollection was he ran less, or less effectively, each year. Bob Morton Might have had something to do with the quality of the teams Hall played on- certainly his sophomore year, 2000; was the best of the 3+ years (he took over late in 1999, IIRC; after it became clear HC was going nowhere with its upperclassmen QBs). 2000 was also Dan Allen's best season.
