These scores are in with the rest of Week 6 scores. Any reason for a separate thread?

Interesting stats: Buffalo is 3-3, the three losses are against teams which are a combined 16-2. Maryland has the two losses, by 2 to Purdue and by 7 to Michigan. Massey ranks Buffalo at # 80 and BC #104.

As of now let me recap Holy Cross' 6 wins:
BEAT the two teams currently tied for 1st in the Ivy League at 2-0 (Harvard, Yale) BEAT the team currently at top of the NEC standings (Merrimack) BEAT the current leader of the MAC East, and 3-0 thus far in MAC play (Buffalo) BEAT the defending Patriot League runner-up on the road by 25 points (Colgate) BEAT Bucknell 57-0 after rolling to a 37-0 halftime lead at Polar Park

Because the Ivy teams have played 2 fewer games than most, it is a bit early to count our H-Y wins too strongly

The Eli's have Penn next week, which should be a good test. First they will take care of Bucknell. I think, from what I have seen of both teams, Yale might have a shot at Penn. Harvard has a blowout potential this week vs Howard but has Princeton at home next week. Next weekend in the Ivies will definitely be a bellwhether and give us an idea of how good Harvard and Yale really are. (Or How good Penn and Princeton really are)
Bulls have a blowout potential this week out at UMass.

Not sure if I missed read the USA today sports page but they had U Mass beating Buffalo by 171/2 points. Really?

Well, Bassett has Buffalo by 28 but did predict UMass might score 17. Massey has Buffalo a 35-17 pick. Perhaps that is where the "17" came from.

I can see this game being in the range of 40-10. Maybe UMess can score two touchdowns on that secondary, but who knows.

UMess doesn't have a QB on the roster who can throw. Averaging a whopping 70 yds a game passing, so they ain't scoring on any DB's.

Yale struggled against Dartmouth who was down to a backup quarterback over the weekend so not really a great look there for the Elis.

From what I've seen so far, I'd put Princeton as my Ivy favorite, followed by Harvard and then Penn. Penn-Columbia should be interesting this weekend and will likely eliminate one of those two from contention from at least a share of the Ivy title.

I think Harvard’s better than Yale but tough to figure out whether Harvard is really good or not.

If Merrimack keeps winning that will be a clue the Crimson are good. The Warriors have only lost to undefeated HC and Harvard has only lost to HC and Harvard and Merrimack tied after regulation when Merrimack was spent after the hype of the biggest football game ever played at Duane Stadium the week before.
Everything orbits around HC football.👍

The kid from Milford (and other places, I think; ended up there after his dad or uncle became the coach) was the anointed qb last year; this year he's third string and the two guys ahead of him aren't doing much, either.

Does anyone know if the NCAA (or another website) keeps track of attendance game to game (rather than at the end of the season)? I think our largest crowd was at Buffalo but homecoming vs. Yale was not far behind. I believe Merrimack was almost double the official seating capacity of Duane. I can look at our schedule on the "2022 Holy Cross Crusaders Football" wikipedia page which does list attendance, but not capacities. I'm curious how both the other PL teams as well as Big Sky, MVFC, etc, are stacking up this year.
Let's get our largest crowd in 25+ years for the Fordham game!
