Those 3 are the priorities but without a solid big or a true point, this will be a 10th place PL team which will duplicate this year’s OOC results, especially if Nelson returns

Probably not fair on my part, but between Bryant behavior at HC football game and last season's Wagner basketball game, I question the culture of that whole Bryant athletic department Lunatics. And Grasso is the craziest of them.

All I can say, based on what I heard this morning, is that Brett Nelson should thank God that he is at HC and not a place like Bryant, for example. On the Boomer and Gio program today on WFAN in NY they played an audio clip of Head Coach Jared Grasso explaining the abuse that he and his family get on social media. He said that his wife and children have been "threatened" several times with pictures of his children posted. This is a coach who took Bryant to the NCAAs last season and is 16-10 this year with a win over Syracuse. But the fans are not happy and, apparently, some are quite vocal in their abuse. Can you imagine what their reaction would be to Nelson's performance to date? My guess is that it's not Bryant fans, but angry bettors. This is a really good point he makes: I have to agree with that premise. If "nobody died for dear old Rutgers", you can take it to the bank no one caught a case of the flu for dear old Bryant.

Duke’s Scheyer on his new philosophy of recruiting When pressed, he quickly and easily rattles off three characteristics — a true love for the game that manifests itself in extra work; a self-belief that helps one accept criticism and recognize that, as good as a player might be, he always has room to get better; and being a winner, and having a game that translates into winning basketball. I wouldn't change too much from Duke's "old" philosophy of recruiting, focus on the best 25 players in the country who don't have issues and are willing to share within the system.

There is no betting on Mass colleges during the regular season in Massachusetts.. Former Governor Baker was on the Harvard team for a few seasons.. He may have had a hand in that portion of the legalities..

From NERR last October.
"Jay Jones 6’3 Guard (Rivers School): Jones is a smooth three-point shooter who can also provide playmaking when on the ball. Has good elbow placement and rotation on his shot. Hits three-pointers on the move or when spotting up. Is able to get into the lane with a sharp handle or when attacking closeouts. Jones has a middle game in his scoring repertoire. He can hit high arching floaters in the paint over bigger opponents. His feel allows him to consistently make sound decisions finding open teammates in the half-court. Defensively, he uses his length well to shield off passing lanes or get deflections."

Jay is Joe Jones' son. I don't know if he wants to play for his dad, but I think it would be weird to play against him.

He is simply on the floor to make those around him better and high major programs have a history of winning with floor generals like him. With Boston College, Colgate, Columbia, Holy Cross, Loyola-Chicago, Massachussetts, Penn, and Rhode Island on him aggressively, it will be interesting to see if a power conference school will pull the trigger at weekend's end. Worcester Academy Good luck to 2026 Anthony DeJohn, who is in Arizona playing with @middlesexmagic at the UAA Next this weekend! #WABasketball #HST @anthonyxdejohn

How many Middlesex Magicians have we offered? Not sure but one of the benefits of having so many available scholarships is that a strong group of kids who want to stay together could all decide to make their own “Fab 5” type of class at a school close to home where they could continue to play together. Would help turn our fortunes around pretty quickly if we got some of the better Magicians.
