We beat Fordham by four touchdowns last year in New York. Have we regressed as a team or have we improved? Lots of ranking services and computer programs seem to think we have improved.
Of course we are not going to take Fordham lightly but I don’t buy into any narrative that has Fordham as an unstoppable offense. Then when we get the ball we’ll be coming up against one of the worst defenses in D-1. HC has scored 30+ points in every game this year, facing defenses much much much better than Fordham’s porous defense.
Holy Cross at Fitton Field will demonstrate why it is a heavy favorite versus a good Fordham team.

Sagarin has us at 21. Bulletin board material? This is a computer rank but it sort of balances out Massey. I am surprised they do not rank our opponents better this week after Buffalo and Yale and solid efforts.

Harvard charged $20 for parking on Saturday, by far the highest price for any game this year. I guess that $53 billion endowment doesn’t go as far as needed. 🤦♂️

Do you remember when Will took him down several pegs by making fun of his pretentious attitude toward Will's friend by showing the jerk how little history he actually knew? For a former history teacher, that was one of the best parts of the film.

At one time there were four alumni magazines coming into my home - Holy Cross, Harvard, Boston College and Wellesley. Care to hazard a guess as to which one contained paid ads?

In four games, while scoring nine, we have given up only three second half touchdowns and one was late against Merrimack against our second/third team. Harvard looked strong late against Merrimack, but in the Brown game (I only watched the highlights) they gave up three fourth quarter TDs with Brown coming up just short. I'll take our depth and our conditioning in this one and try to remain calm even if it is close for a while. I am guessing we win by two touchdowns. The three: the late one vs. Merrimack, the "answer" to our long drive to start the second half vs. Buffalo, and the late one vs. Yale. With that, I would posit that we've only given up one "competitive" second half touchdown in four games. I agree that we seem to be out-conditioning our opponents. So now our defense has given up FOUR second-half touchdowns in five games. Only two of those have been "competitive" and neither of those two has been surrendered in the fourth quarter. Can you say "shut-down D"? Let's send the Bison back to Lewisburg with a big fat "0" to show for their troubles.

As expected, only Ng won a PLPoW award. Had it been previously noted that Derek passed Gordie for HC all time points leader ? Haskins and Coker got HM. ( do we have a QB ?) DeMorat won. They are considering naming it after him Ntantang of Lafayette won the defense.award.
