An opportunity to unite generations from the last two great HC FB eras would be an announcement of the scoring leader milestone at Polar Park before kick-off with a handshake between Gordie and Ng on the field, shown on the video board for the live audience and pre-arranged to be shown to the streaming/television audience during a pause in the action early in the game.
A little stage managing to stoke up Crusader pride. I hope Spectrum will be showing the game on Cable in Central Mass and hope transmission hand-off to ESPN+ bugs have been ironed out.

As expected, only Ng won a PLPoW award. Had it been previously noted that Derek passed Gordie for HC all time points leader ? Haskins and Coker got HM. ( do we have a QB ?) DeMorat won. They are considering naming it after himNtantang of Lafayette won the defense.award. Good one

FB post To our HC Football Family…. At the Harvard game I had an opportunity to meet this young lady who was photographing our team. She is just starting out in sports photography and was kind enough to send me her contact. She posted all the pics on her website and said that I can share with other parents as well. They are free to download/save from her website if anyone would like them. Any shout out for her I am sure would be very much appreciated! My son, Dillon, has shared the link with the players but I wanted to have the parents the opportunity to see more photos. We appreciate all the photos other parents share and I wanted to do the same! Here is the link and password to access the photos... Katie Iverson Photography www.katieiversonphotography.com/101-holy-cross-football-at-harvardpassword: katie44 Tina Springer Dillon #91

Ms Iverson has some very nice work on display there. She may have a future in sports photography.

Way too much bellyaching here about Player of the Week awards. Inconsequential at the end of the day. Good content for a press release and the history section of a media guide, but nobody looks at a conference trophy and wonders how many Player of the Week honors were handed out that season.

The Cornell vs Colgate game was ridiculously close. Yale handled them 38-14 the week after us. Harvard making a lot of mistakes tonight.

So, if you bought your tickets to the Harvard game, you are probably on their emailing list
For their game against Princeton, they gave a special family pack for $99 that includes
4 tickets 4 hot dogs 4 sodas 4 bags of chips 1 parking pass
Should we do something like that at Fitton?

I bought my Harvard ticket at the gate to ensure I got my collectible physical ticket stub to add to my collection...and to avoid spam from Harvard apparently. I rolled the dice that a 40,000 seat stadium wouldn't be sold out, even for a big-ticket opponent like Holy Cross on a day where the weather forecast was for all day rain.

That Harvard package deal could work at HC. Where else today can you get parking, hours of fun, food, a drink and a chance to see one of the best FCS football teams in the country for under $100? Family opportunities like that are few and far between. (OK, I imagine it also works well for two couples, .

Family opportunities like that are few and far between. (OK, I imagine it also works well for two couples, . I tried one of their pre-packaged hot dogs at Harvard Stadium. I had very low expectations but it was actually pretty good (minus the slightly soggy bun). The dog tasted like it might have been of the all-beef variety. I have not had a hot dog at Fitton since my student days. Even then I usually grabbed a bowl of chili or something from the endzone. I think a package like Harvard's would be a great way to entice families to the game.

HC needs to be more creative in putting together packages which encourage attendance of people in the area, especially families.Harvard's package is one example. I'm sure there are others which an imaginative Athletics Department could come up with.
