Defense has been very disruptive today.
It's too bad we haven't been able to get more out of the offense.
The current 5 (AT-PB-KC-MA-JF) is our best lineup by far today.

AT gives this team not much, at least hit free throws. Too many easy misses and no shooters. You will not beat decent teams with this offense. This is a replay of u mass game.
Team is irratic to say the least.
Need to recruit better!

Much rather have Husek out there camped out at the 3 point line or Champion hanging out in the corner.

It is what it is (per usual)...guys played hard, we just don't have the talent to compete (seriously) against Top 50 type programs. We'll be fine in the PL....URI is a very solid team.

URI not a top 50 team. We played awful today. We can't shoot consistently. PL teams all can shoot.

We'll be fine in the PL....URI is a very solid team. agreed, ihoop. all in all, i'm happy with the performance today as uri is a strong team. some bright spots... - benzan: he is a capable starting point guard and the best on our team. he had one of the best stat lines, makes things happen, and probably had as strong a +/- as anyone for hc today. - floyd: he played well and provides a great change of pace. he still fouls at too high of a rate and can't do much outside of 5 feet, but i like his potential not just for the future, but later this season if he can consistently log minutes and not get into foul trouble. - ma's free throw shooting: he gets fouled quite a bit so it was nice seeing him knocking them down at the line so well today. - stevens: hey, at least he saw the floor and got a point!

Benzan is a much better player when he is playing off AT as the primary point guard. He is very timid when he is the lone PG on the floor.

Not what I saw today. No better than UMass. If we played like against Q, we win this game

I liked JS's instinctive roll to the hoop & catch when smaller defender pick him up

Better than UMass on defense, but the shooting in the first half was brutal. I agree that a start on outside shooting like we had against Q and the game becomes a toss-up.

While the defense was disruptive on the perimeter, causing 14 turnovers and URI to make only 3 of 17 3FG attempts, however, this was yet another game were we were KILLED inside the 3-point line.
URI 2FG: 21-31 (67.7%) 12 offensive rebounds

URI #41, Q #273
not quite following the logic ... if played against URI like we played against Q we win

this was yet another game were we were KILLED inside the 3-point line. URI 2FG: 21-31 (67.7%) 12 offensive rebounds Holy Cross came into the game ranked 324th in defending the two. Looking quickly at the other teams in that lowly vicinity, I don't see many (any?) with a winning record. www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/opponent-two-point-pct

URI is very good. Their M2M was smothering. Their Off broke down our zone not by the 3 but by their interior game with some great inside passing. That's why CBC went from 1-3-1- to 2-3.

URI #41, Q #273 not quite following the logic ... if played against URI like we played against Q we win My logic is that URI team I just saw is not that good. If we played a half decent game on offense, we could have won this game.
