I wish they would have just announced the schedule instead of this drip, drip, drip.

Perhaps they are afraid we can't stand too much of a good thing.

44, for the thousandth time here, Holy Cross does not have colors (plural), only one- Royal Purple. Oh, in case you don’t know, up until a few years ago we had a cognomen (hope auto incorrect doesn’t screw this up on my iPhone) that was around since 1925 of a Crusader and was more than a name. 😉😂 He used to actually sit on a horse and carried a lance but he apparently was killed. Sorry sader my bad!!! Although i do remember wearing gray pants in a few games back in the day.

Hah! You might have worn black too. 😂
All offsetting colors, white, gray, black.
Now say an Act of Contrition and you will be absolved of your sin.✝️

Even a few times in the late 60s.

We need someone high up in the Boston Police Dept. with a Holy Cross connection and a close relationship with Bill Evans, former BPD Commissioner who is now the B.C. Chief of Police, to get a mounted BPD officer to put on a Crusader outfit and ride a Boston Police Horse up and down the field before the BC-HC FB game.
It would have to be a surprise so HC couldn't nix it beforehand.

Looks like there is one more home game to be announced based on the wording in the season ticket announcement that 13 home games were scheduled. My guess is it will be the week between Christmas and New Years. It won’t be Williams as their schedule is out.

So now the only unknown opponent will definitely be a home game after Christmas.

I’ll go with Lemoyne. Another Jesuit school still looking for 5 or 6 games.

Jaden Kirkwood may well be a pleasant surprise this year. He appears to have bulked up with additional muscles with dedicated time in strength and conditioning. He will be fun to watch in the paint, as not to be outmuscled underneath the basket.

Crucius you and I are thinking in a similar way as to how he might contribute in 23-24

The wing positions, the 2 and the 3, are very crowded.

The point we don't know or how to evaluate is how much we improve with this new class on the perimeter and can Declan make progress over the course of the season
If both are positive we just might enjoy a big turnaround this season
