Massey raised HC 8 spots to #14. He sees HC as favored by 20 (37-17) with an 88% chance for the win.
PS: He dropped Yale 24 spots to #56.
Moving on up: HC now given a 92% chance for a win with a Massey prediction of: HC 38 / Colgate 14
I find that a bit conservative...my pick is HC 48 / Colgate 10

Should be the kind of game where we are up four or five scores by the early 4th and then the starters get pulled for the final few series.
HC - 40+ Colgate - No more than 14

Attendance predictions for homecoming?
Last year we drew 13,847 against Yale, but that was also our home-opener.
This year, on the heels of a terrific performance at BC and blow out against the Ivy favorites, coupled with a top five ranking, what are we thinking attendance is?
Given that we had 13,117 against Merrimack over Labor Day weekend, I see no reason we shouldn't be able to at least match that.
I'll say 14,387.

Early Saturday forecast for the Woo is mostly sunny with a high of 69. Here’s my prop bet of the week: What will be higher, the temperature at game’s end or the combined points on the scoreboard? I’ll take the latter, and will venture that 80% of that number will be in the Crusaders column. Without taking off my shoes, that calculates to a final score in the range of 56-14. I think the ‘gate will be lucky to “hold” us to fifty-six, and to put two TDs on the board.

Well, I'm bringing about 8 people from work. My pride and enthusiasm for HC over two years working in this location got one of my co-work to slap the table and say.."That's it! I have to see this in person." I looked at the schedule and set a date.
I'll go with 15,008

I find that a bit conservative...my pick is HC 48 / Colgate 10Because of the (very) odd Massey HC ranking there is room to move up with a win v Yale. Not sure if we'll go anywhere up at all in Stats/Coaches Polls. I'm not on top of what went on with the teams above us but Sac State should leapfrog us. As far as Colgate fan attendance goes, there may be a thought that the game will be over quickly and some folks might stay home. But that might be more of an issue with some other PL teams as visitors.

RGS, want to consider changing the title of this thread? Pretty sure that Fitton Field would be a home field for us and maybe consider "Colgate at HC."

Hope there are still some Colgate football fans, many alumni of that school live in Greater Boston.

We weren’t that far behind ‘em last week, and they squeaked by a lesser opponent while we were having our way with last year’s IL champs and this year’s preseason favorite. Sound logical?

Ooooo………hadn’t seen the W vs the Cardinal. We shall see. I can see us at 4 in the poll we were 5 and move to 5 in the other poll from 6. I think Sac State is just behind us and W&M drops to 6/7. Idaho moves down a spot after the miss at Cal (they did have an early lead). 1. SDSU 2. NDSU 3. MSU 4. HC 5. Sac St 6. W&M

Thanks for posting this article cruskater. Great story. Brendan seems like a nice guy. Weird but I’ve always bragged to people about the landscaping at HC.

I believe the landscaping at Holy Cross has been long recognized as being among the best around. We've even won national awards if my memory serves me right.

Colgate alum Joe Castiglione usually mentions the game on the Red Sox radio broadcast. With his reduced schedule maybe he can make the game.

Nationally since 1977 see crossworks.holycross.edu/campus_arboretum/2nd edition published in 1993 now outdated but with campus maps up until then at some point a 3rd edition?
