We did not offer any of these. Actually intentionally passed on a couple. None of these players have any current NIL market value.
The TE from NY and Foote from STL are good players however.
FCS programs with NIL resources are only sufficient for retention of top existing rostered players. Very few if any are giving guarantees to FCS level high school recruits.
Fordham will have a big class like we did 2 years ago. Hence 9 commits already with the shortened recruiting calendar. We are at 7 (6 scholarship and 1 PWO) with a very small projected class on the Dec 4th early signing.

IDK how far along they are. One awkward concept is NIL money for new recruits and not for proven veterans. Juniors and Seniors in mid-July realistically have few options other than finishing up at Fordham but recruits have all their options including some schools with NIL $ to offer. It looks like Midwest just addressed this and recruits at our level aren't getting NIL to speak of yet.

Any Fordham NIL dollars were likely already committed/allocated to retain their ~7 studs this offseason.

A 10th player for Fordham is Tavian Fenderson. Offers from Gtown, Fordham, Merrimack. 6'1 (ish)/220 SS. Played at same high school as my son. Is going to PG at Philips Exeter. Tweener between ILB and SS. He can play football. Not twitchy enough IMO for DB but he makes plays.

Not only did we not offer any of their commits, conversely they offered 4 of our first 6 scholi commits (Georgs, Sorrentino, Redfern and Campanile) Redfern OV’d with them, refused to commit and then visited HC. Campanile flipped his OV from Fordham to us. So for those keeping score of commits. HC 4 Fordham 0. The idea that Fordham has 10 commits right now because NIL guarantees to HS players is simply fantastical thinking. FCS will use ~80-90% of NIL budgets on retention. If they use it for acquisition, it will be on a proven college transfer, not a HS kid.

NIL money at Fordham isn't being used to acquire HS players who haven't played a single play in college. These aren't LSU/Georgia type talents.

So where are we now? It looks like we have some holdover level 1 offers still live. Are the upcoming OV's a combination of level 2's and back up level 1's in case we don't get the aging level 1's. Like a DB, WR, O/D lineman? Does the length of time we give an aging offer depend on how much we'd like him? It seems back up level 1's aren't going to wait long before committing elsewhere.

Another signal went out. From the West Coast based on the tweet. Only one player on the active board from the West Coast. OLB Daniel Leupold from San Fran. Looks to me they are indeed locking down a couple PWOs before the fall.

Excluding P/K, every position listed on my board last week are “level 1” with the exception of OL. Sorrentino was clearly OL1 and Enright and Simone are either competing to be OL2 or could be OL2 and OL3 respectively. Jamarion Kola is a level 1 recruit as he seems to have other full rides on the table and just got listed as a 3 star by 247. My guess CB board is - Grayton, Jamarion, then Levrone.

Serious question: other than Lembo what are the selling points for Buffalo? Relative to HC or relative to a JMU, ECU, UMASS, ODU etc that they beat out for Early and Climes? The pitch sounds a bit different per your competition.

Just to make sure I am accurately keeping track, HC currently has 7 commitments -- 6 announced and one still pending announcement by the recruit.
I do not have Jamarion Kola on my offer list. Did I miss something?

Did I miss something? Previous page shows why Jamarion came onto the scene. He sent out that he’s visiting, but hasn’t formally received an offer. It’s currently 8 commits with 6 public. Campanile (“NJ”) and Leupold “West Coast” haven’t announced but clues by state made the process of elimination pretty straightforward.

So, midwest, we have 2 offers in California and 2 commits (assuming Leupold announces).
On the other hand, we have 5 offers in Massachusetts with no commits (4 committed to other schools; 1 still uncommitted).
Unusual, to say the least.

Not sure if we should count Bobby Luongo as CA or DMV as he plays in the WCAC for St. John’s.
It’s unclear to me if the family still lives in California and he’s a boarding student at St. John’s or if the family moved from California to the DMV.

FWIW, I'm really curious about Leupold now. I couldn't find anything from him that said we invited him to a camp (could be wrong of course), which would imply he signed up for this camp on his own, came out from CA for it, impressed the coaches and got an offer, and then supposedly committed here fairly quickly.
Now maybe he just thought this was the best offer he was gonna get, but it could paint a picture this kid knew where we wanted to go and really put in the effort to make it happen.

No boarding but might be placed with a family- Georgetown Prep, St Albans, Episcopal, St James have boarding- maybe another one or two schools

I was told by a dear friend and former St Johns/Notre Dame national champ, QB Coley O’Brien, he wanted to go to the best Catholic school where he could play.
He found his home if he puts in the work
