Obviously, I hope we keep BC. However, he is too good not to get a chance at the P5 level. Cuse would be lucky to get him. Duke or BC would be good fit for him. Fingers crossed that when he moves on, we get a Chris Smith or James to slide in to head coach role to continue growth of program.

Surprised that local Worcester joints are not using HC athletes more, e.g. Jacob Dobbs eats Herbies sandwiches, Dickson drinks his Natty's at McGuire's, etc.
EDIT: Yes, I heard that McGuire's was long gone - RIP.

If it was based solely on his Twitter followers, he will have plenty of options at the FBS and FCS (obviously) levels. Partial list of schools with coaches that follow him: UTSA, Coastal, Alcorn St, Marshall, NIU, CCSU, Bryant, North Dakota, Miami (FL), Youngstown, Rutgers, UT Martin, Washington State, Syracuse, Buffalo, Troy, Pitt.

Both FSU and LSU are losing mobile QB's this year. Longshot, but just saying...

Cart is WAY before horse here, but why would this be bad for Chesney? Agree about that cart, but It could look like the Cuse said we will take you ONLY IF you bring Sluka along. Disagree. Happens all the time. Players have relationships with coach. If BC goes any where, you can guarantee one or more players will follow (especially grad transfers). I don't remember saying Lincoln Riley or Deion Sanders got the job because they were bringing a QB. Syracuse would be lucky to have Coach Chesney. I certainly hope he stays. I think that Syracuse will try to get a big name from the NFL or former p5 coach. I am not getting too worried yet, but if he does get the change to go P5, and he decided to take it - I would thank him for all he has done and wish him luck on his well-earned promotion.

Coker should work on getting in showcase bowls, work on his combine measurables (hopefully get an invite to Indy) and go pro. I can see Sluka being viewed as tweener type/camp project and going to a P5 school in need of a mobile QB would be his best bet at showing scouts he is a QB. Dobbs can play in the NFL, but given his height, his advisors may tell him he should go P5 to show scouts he can compete with anybody. I thank them for the last 4-5 years and wish them the best of luck.
If Sluka ends up at Syracuse, I hope it is not a package deal. Also, we'll have to stop him next September.

Give me 5 minutes with him - I'll talk him out of becoming a lawyer.
As a native Canadian, he would like be a top 5 pick in the CFL native draft - if they still do that.

I played with Ari, Labo, Thompson, etc. All talented in their own right, and did it without really good QB play (Ari and Thompson had Hall and Stewart later on), but Labo did not have consistent QB play for his career.
Gallagher before my time, but he could still run when he played in Alumni games.
Coker is special. I would put him in a different league.

Georgetown (more desire and hope, than actual Colgate Holy Cross (will be tough game the way our defense is playing; loss here makes season a bust, but I believe HCBC lead us to victory)

The ‘hand motion’ (and I am not referring to his penalized pointing/taunting with this euphemism) is really not something you see every day on the football field and I’m guessing that is the specific behavior. Really an embarrassment to the team and school. I was at the game, and I still don't know what you're talking about. I'll be the guy that actually states what he did instead of continuing to call it a hand motion. He simulated jerking off toward our bench.
