Well, at least one of my schools remains the Crusaders

I also still have two Crusaders in my background, but only one is still shown as a knight with sword/lance (Bergen Catholic High School) in its mascot and symbols.

Theisman was Theese-man. Ng is not “ing” but maybe what it has been Americanized to. Good thing BF is gone. I think Theisman purposely mispronounced his name...

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but it looks like 2018 grad and 2018 FBS recruit ALIM MUHAMMAD has gotten an offer from Vanderbilt.

Our 32nd recruit at his signing ceremony today.

Chesney’s letter today said 31 recruits. Wonder if that means Chesney was not counting Ng since he had not signed yet, or one of the other 30+ changed his mind ?

I think it might be the former, not the latter. The 2018 roster on the football web page shows 32 incoming freshmen.
It is possible that the roster has not been updated to remove one of the incoming freshman, but there is nothing to indicate that this might be so.

A scholarship agreement ?

Probably his Letter of Intent (or, more likely, a ceremonial re-enactment of his previous signing of his Letter of Intent).

A scholarship agreement ? probably... but not an NLI, the signing period for that ended on April 1. so if he reneged and went some place else he would not have to sit a year and lose a year of eligibilty

According to some tweets, it looks like some of our 2022's are moving in to HC tomorrow. Is this something new? (Frosh football players moving in in June).

hoops is correct. However, assuming he knows what he is talking about, Coach Carmody told me last year that freshmen were not allowed to participate in the summer school (believe I posted about that conversation last year). IIRC, he said something like "too bad, because freshmen are the ones that would benefit the most." I would assume if freshmen basketball players could not take the summer classes neither could the football freshmen.

While they may not be able to take classes, I believe they are allowed to live in the dorms for the small amount of rent the school charges for the summer (which also may be covered by financial aid/scholarship).

Thanks for that article, breezy. I hope Mason comes to HC fully healed and ready to put the hurt on opponents. He clearly has the right attitude and no shortage of courage.
