Just tried to figure out parking and tailgating for the BC game and WHAT A NIGHTMARE. And I thought RSIG was bad, this may be worse. We are renting a school bus of about 40 and hopefully we will be able to tailgate in the bus lots. anyone here have experience with this?

My hope, though not optimistic, is that Holy Cross will communicate a parking/tailgate area somewhere where we can then shuttle bus to the stadium. I was hoping that my classmates would sign on to us chartering a bus from HC, do a Class breakfast at HC, take the bus to the front door of Alumni and bus back to HC missing all that driving in traffic. Unfortunately, hardly anyone is jumping on the bandwagon (bus/wagon?). Parking may be a lot uglier than the game results.

AIR, BC's website clearly spells out the various shuttle bus/parking options. Dunno about bus lots....where are they ?
There may be new parking options over where the new baseball field was built. If so, that's an easy walk over to the stadium.

I think you can safely assume there will be no parking options that are an easy walk to the stadium. In terms of the school bus, I would plan on being dropped off on the side of Beacon Street and picked up after the game with no tailgating. Might be better to have the bus take you to a remote site and shuttle to the game on normal shuttles

I know, on paper, it's a tough year to restart this rivalry between these two fine institutions....BC may have one of their bettah teams in awhile while we'll be very much in rebuilding mode.
Still, it's going to be a fabulous day.

Has anybody heard anything about the status of tickets? I ordered through HC, but I have not heard anything yet. Thanks.

Definitely going to be a rock fight. I just fear BC will also be bringing guns.

BC's offensive line will be impressive to watch. Center is from Millis and Chris Lindstrom from Shepherd Hill Regional and Dudley is a preseason All-American and will be playing on Sundays next year. Was a beast in HS here in CMass.

Was a beast in HS here in CMass. That's the second or third offensive lineman BC has had from Millis and there is another kid from there that is at Villanova. Plus there is a Pyne related to the Pyne that played briefly for HC that is 6-8, 275...and heavily recruited with two more years to play. I don't think there are 400 kids in the school either. Tiny town that for a while needed to join forces with another town (Hopedale) to have a team (no longer the case, but the squad is very, very small).

Just bought 6 tickets on stub hub behind the HC bench. Mind if I ask how much per tix ?
Reminder, the visitor bench is on the parking garage side or across from the press box. Assume you knew that.

Paid $50 each. Wanted to buy them through HC, but I do not want to sit in the corner of the endzone.

Forgot about George Pyne...good guy, didn't know him too well at HC...ended up as Brown's captain I believe. Has done very well in the "sports marketing" field. Small world dept, he is also the son in law of Paul Harney. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Pyne_(business_executive)

Has anyone heard of any plans - either by HC or jointly with BC - to celebrate the revival of the series in some way ?
I think it's regrettably obvious that in general, this event means more to HC alums than it does to BC folks. BC quickly replaced us with a rivalry series with ND and a few years ago rekindled another long-time annual rival in Syracuse.
Would at least hope that the Boston Globe does a historical piece on the game during game week.
BEAT BC !
