Just in case it helps anyone, after a call to the BC ticket office, there is on-campus parking available at various price points and locations, and depending upon whether or not you want to be in the true tailgating area, in which case it will cost you $300. For a large tailgating party, divided up among many people, it might actually make sense financially, as a means of getting a car with provisions into the tailgating grounds to serve as ground zero and then have others meet via Uber, off campus parking, or T. Also, there is also a group ticket rate available via the BC ticket office, where tickets go from $25 to $15, although no group rate or discounts are available for seats behind the HC bench, which are $40. They tell me sales have been brisk for an FCS game, some sections near capacity. 300.00 ? You won't have any money left for food and spirits. With 20 people in our tailgate, it comes down to $15/person for the spot and $15/person for a ticket = $30/person, plus transportation, so not that bad. Trick is to get enough people lined up to chip in for one spot, which I'll bet a lot of HC fans are doing. Gotta get some purple in there. Been to several BC games over the years, but have not tailgated since the late 90s, last time for an ND game and boy has it changed.

Yeah, I think I'd rather just use my helicopter to fly in. BTW, I just checked where my seats are and 45, you told me that you were in section "TT" and when I saw mine were in "MM," I thought "how can I have better seats than 45, since he's buddies with all the Athletic Department big shots?" So, when I checked the seat diagram for Alumni, I am now reassured you have much better seats - both in the nose-bleed altitude but yours are on the 15 on the HC side and mine are at the opposite goal behind the end zone at a 45 degree angle from the endzone corner. The good news is my seats are NOT under the bleachers as I expected after all the noise I made. Should have leveraged my BC Jesuit connections!

And some people were shocked at the price to park on the baseball field. You'd have to be a dedicated fan and tailgater to pony up that much cash

I believe it has been posted in the past that in order to get any season ticket, you must first purchase a seat license. The higher amount you pay for the license, the better the seat.

$300 to park is insane—- can’t imagine why anyone would pay that. Have a $250 brunch in Boston and then take a cab or the streetcar to the game

It would appear that the Eagles are strategically scattering the Crusader fans around the stadium.

So far, Lou, you and 45 look like seat winners, outside of 81 who said he paid extra.
Anyone have better seats like "SS," "QQ," or even better, "RR" (50 yard line)?

It may be time to bring out some of the old tunes. Anyone remember hearing this one at Fitton?
"Poor Boston, poor Boston, we sing this sad refrain. Poor Boston, poor Boston, you're going to lose again. You try real hard like the big boys do, But you'll take it in the ear as you always do. Poor Boston, poor Boston, when the Cross beats you again."

In my time the first verse went....
"For Boston, for Boston, the outhouse on the hill."
Can't recall the rest.

Yet another variation on the theme ... like a game of telephone, the orginal faux words morphed a bit each year in the re-telling For Boston, for Boston, we sing this sad refrain. Poor Boston, poor Boston, 'till the Cross beats you again You tried to play the game like a good team should, But you shoved it up your #$$ like we knew you would. Poor Boston, poor Boston, 'til the Cross beats you again."

So, this is the program cover from 1950 game that they are using to hawk tickets to the game [forget that, I've got my tickets, when will I get an answer about a bus?]. For those of a certain age, doesn't it look like Arthur Godfrey was the model for this cover boy? ["howahya, howahya, howahya"] Not the 1942 program, the one that had a BC player on it who ended up being a HC coach? Not to mention the final score represented in the players' numbers

Ed Doherty. I seem to remember the other player, #55, was Mike Holovak, who would become the Patriots first coach.
