Biggest stat of the night: Crusaders take 6 three point attempts versus 42 twos.
We also had one of our better rebounding games: .839 on defense and .273 on offense

In second half of conference play (8 games), HC is averaging 109-148 (74%) from the line - in first half (9 games), 77-120 (64%). Getting to the line more, making more.

Biggest stat of the night: Crusaders take 6 three point attempts versus 42 twos. Not depending on threes vs. a zone - guessing our three point rate much lower in second half of PL play, big reason why we're getting to the line a lot more often.

Jehyve has definitely improved his FT shooting. He's now terrible versus horrific. But the improvement is just good enough where Hack-a-Jehyve has not paid off for opposing coaches.

Walter Whyte back in the lineup for BU, scores fourteen, Terriers beat Lafayette, 81-65. Colgate beat Army, Believe that puts HC in sole possession of 6th place.

AU doesn't really have the depth to play the hacking game.

I like it. Offering a day off from morning lifting for bringing the noise at a hoop game. They were really fun and loud tonight. Good job by Chesney and his guys.

How about the guy in the Incredible Hulk outfit ( not up on superhero cartoon characters, but I think that's who it was)

A great atmosphere tonight, kudos to the football team! This team is growing before our eyes..The offense has morphed from one that relied on the 3 ball to one that attacks the rim..The freshman have all gained confidence and understanding in what Coach wants..AB is such a good competitor, and plays with a lot of energy..He has become a solid defender and rebounder..Grandi is a handful. He has found his legs, and now rebounds above the rim with Floyd.. The backcourt of Pat and Caleb have learned to play together...Caleb has developed that driving layup ala Kyrie Irving where he gets it off quickly and reaches out in front of him. Floyd is developing his game, he is a threat at both ends..Tonight, AU didn't go to the hoop when he was in the game, as soon as Faw entered, AU attacked the inside...Floyd is becoming a good passer, not great, but good... The game tonight, in the second half it was all about the D..HC got to shooters a step sooner, and forced turnovers with their pressure...(Only one possession in the 1-3-1, caught AU by surprise and earned an unforced turnover...) The entire team works hard! AB got teed up, and Coach told him "It's OK" ..His physical play is a challenge for defenders..Pat and Caleb were pretty good with the ball...and made good decisions for the most part.. Such a different looking team out there from the OOC schedule!

We opened the second half with the 1-3-1 and it caused a few turnovers. We varied it with the match up the rest of the half. Both were effective in that half.

How about AB scoring 14 with no 3 pointers ( only 1 attempt) ! He is turning into a scorer, not just a shooter

He is turning into a scorer, not just a shooter One more point about AB: he ranks #1 in PL for lowest turnover rate and is #41 in NCAA oh, and he is #1 on HC team in offensive rebounding rate. Just think what he'd do if we actually tried for offensive boards....

Re: The Vociferous Cheering by the HC Football Team at tonight's game against American. Absolutely love it. Top notch. This is what it’s going to take across the board. Right here. Right now. Stuff like this. You’re seeing it.
