JF has been left on the floor a number of times this year when there was an opportunity to substitute a better foul shooter. Luckily it has not come back to haunt us. Does the college rule not allow you to wrap up a player off the ball as happens all the time in the NBA to foul poor shooters. Is doing this an intentional foul in college I believe that is the case, considered intentional, don't think time of game matters

If it's an intentional foul it mitigates the risk of having JF on floor, if we do keep him in game he should be sent to the other end of the floor where he would require a defender to stop an uncontested layup and should never be in position to be a primary outlet as happened the other night.

I believe we did that on the next OOB play and that is the usual alignment

In all fairness, Floyd coming to Grandi to receive the inbounds might have been the difference in not just turning the ball over.
