Darn it. So frustrating to lose to that team. Way to many fouls and missed free throws! How can we not win these games? Every time on CBS Sports Network we lose.

HC has the better players. Lafayette has the better coach. Let's hope we can rebound from this disappointing loss.

Very bad loss. Lafayette not a very good team. Unfortunately we are worse. Looks like a 9 or 10 seed in the tournament. Then win four straight on the road !!

Very poor shot selection down the stretch after an excellent come back. Only reason Lafayette wasn’t able to pull ahead comfortably for a second time was because they were just as careless in half court. Offense a shell of itself during stretches with Floyd on bench.
Nice to see Copeland getting key minutes.

Lafayette, shows you by how they played in the second half that they are deserving of their 7-16 record. It's just amazing that we have 1 win on the road in the PL. Went away from Floyd down low. I don't know why? I like the playing more players, but surprised Clayton shot two bricks. Just a momentum killer of a loss. Niego?

HC shot the ball well - 54%+ EFG. Inept first half defense killed us today.

Very simple solution to this mess. We need better players! Period Bring on the class of ‘23 Floyd’s inability to shoot ft’s (was today and) is a big problem going forward

I thought the foul at the end was a weak call.. bailed out Laf..Nice comeback to be in it t the end, but what really struck me, after the 2 free throws to put us down 2 was, WHO was going to get the ball to take the final shot? There wasn't one player who jumped out in my mind..I actually thought of Pat B. He has taken many last second shots, but we really don't have a go to player..That is one of the things this team is missing in all these (4) close losses..I thought JG would be that player..Somebody has to step up and start taking over...

We have now lost to every team in the Patriot League except Colgate who we have yet to play.
STILL MATHEMATICALLY POSSIBLE TO SPLIT WITH EVERY TEAM IN THE CONFERENCE.

HC sub-par rebounding at the defensive end, under 70% (for the sixteenth time this year), better than usual at the offensive end (~26%).
Lafayette came into the game ranked 332nd in OR (20%) - they got 31% today, first time in PL play over 30%

Atrocious loss.
Through 12 pL games, we have allowed 42+ points in the first half FOUR times. Nice preparation!
Lafayette wins this one by scoring after getting an offensive rebound with 30 seconds left.
This program has been built on a foundation that does not emphasize any fundamentals other than jump shooting and back door cuts. Not a recipe for success at our level.
Does anyone actually think it’s just an accident that this will be the 17th consecutive season that Carmody’s teams have lost at least 13 games? Thinking this will change next year just because some Sophomores become Juniors is insanity.

Face the facts, Football is now the marquee sport! They have the majority of the Luth investment, and a young fiery coach who just signed the 6th rated recruiting class in FCS. What is happening in other winter sports(hockey, MBB, WBB) Losing seasons, bad recruiting and either coaching firings, suspensions or retirements!

We are going absolutely nowhere if we do not rebound the basketball on either end.

Thinking this will change next year just because some Sophonores become Juniors is insanity. Through 66 PL regular season games, Carmody is 26-40. In Milan Brown's first 66, he was 33-33.
